He checks with the Dancer's Guild, and his poker chips have been infiltrated to get into Shiryu's ways. He keeps quiet. - Various tomfoolery with mobile poker chips happens. - Shiryu speaks to Jean and disinvites the Dancer's Guild chips - Jean pulls them out, quickly, and they go off to report. - Calla realizes she needs advice and information from someone - she asks Jean for a reference, not for the advice. Jean recommends Dworkin, who volunteers. - Calla talks to Dworkin about why Shiryu is upset with her. (I didn't write this down. I don't quite recollect what the issue was.) - Jean spots Morganti-sign in chaos - husked bodies, lifeless and soul-drained. Jean battens down the hatches in House Swayville, and the barcajeans at Thelbane enter the anteroom and lock themselves in. (Jean tells someone about this. Neville? Hm. Someone who pointed out that he should talk to Neville.)
