(08:15:40 PM) dkap: Well ... you put it into the lens, so you didn't have to do all the work, beforehand.

(08:15:48 PM) dkap: Don't forget, the lens is a short-cut.
(08:15:52 PM) Cagliostro: but I -can- do it without the lens.

(08:16:09 PM) Cagliostro: there are things that Cagliostro conjures as a short cut, but presumably there are things that he can only do as conjuration too.

(08:16:35 PM) dkap: Adding to (and removing) mystic inertia is only through conjuration.
(08:16:43 PM) Cagliostro: yep.
(08:17:06 PM) Cagliostro: and I don't know where the power comes from or goes to, but there's a limit for raising mystic inertia that I can use.
(08:17:40 PM) Cagliostro: For a while, the only way I could detect mystic inertia was to try to increase it, but I seem to have gotten better.

(08:33:49 PM) dkap: But as you traveled the mystical realms, sometimes you had more power available to you, sometimes less, sometimes none (like in Hell).

(08:34:22 PM) dkap: And in some places, you could raise it more easily, and in others, you could only lower it, because raising it was beyond your means.

(09:26:30 PM) dkap: There is a ... somewhat horrifying Nos, helping him, which he has either accepted with equamnity, or has been stressed beyond his ability to blink at the Nos's presence.
