(7:38:23 PM) dkap: Hello?
(7:39:23 PM) dkap: I know I'm early ... but is anyone else?
(7:39:42 PM) Delna: yar. I made it tonight!
(7:39:50 PM) Delna: Sorry I have been so absent :(
(7:39:53 PM) dkap: Woot!
(7:41:10 PM) Delna: My show is now finished went well. And no current work events taking away my gaming time. How goes things?
(7:44:09 PM) dkap: Interestingly. I'll be slightly distracted, and probably not generating a log, due to fussing over one of myhousehold.
(7:45:14 PM) dkap: She is in the hospital with heart problems, and I'm on a smartphone.
(7:46:16 PM) dkap: Beyond that, everything is fine.
(7:46:18 PM) Cagliostro: heya
(7:46:27 PM) Cagliostro: good to hear that your show went well.
(7:46:34 PM) Cagliostro: sorry to hear about the household health issues.
(7:46:43 PM) Cagliostro: and I can haz log.
(7:46:51 PM) dkap: It happens.
(7:47:04 PM) dkap: Excellent.
(7:49:29 PM) dkap: So, Delna, did you catch up on what you missed.
(7:51:23 PM) Delna: As far as I could find. I saw a log posted on the 27th by you that was cagliostro's adventures. The others I found were all ones where I was there
(7:51:41 PM) Delna: Were there ones that I missed?
(7:52:14 PM) dkap: Not much ... just a child eaten ...
(7:53:09 PM) Delna: ...sounds unfortunate
(7:53:29 PM) Delna: Is there a log on it? Or should details be filled in for Delna?
(7:54:13 PM) dkap: It was more ... diverting than otherwise. Simon was not amused.
(7:55:43 PM) dkap: I can't check the log from here, but it was the most recent.
(7:56:05 PM) Cagliostro: I don't know if you got my email?
(7:56:21 PM) Cagliostro: we did kind of run out of steam last week, and I was trying to find a way forward and sent you a note.
(7:56:58 PM) dkap: I've been here all day, unfortunately ...
(7:57:24 PM) Cagliostro: k.
(7:57:46 PM) Cagliostro: I'll try to send it to you in readable chunks...
(7:58:14 PM) dkap: Danke.
(8:00:19 PM) Delna: ...hmm, didn't see it on train-wreck. Perhaps you could give me the short-story version of what happened with this child being eaten? One of the vamps I assume?
(8:00:47 PM) Cagliostro: Spot, I think.
(8:00:52 PM) dkap: Actually Spot and the Nos.
(8:01:51 PM) Delna: Spot and the Nos ate a child? How did this come about?
(8:02:30 PM) dkap: Boredom, mostly.
(8:02:58 PM) dkap: She gave spot indigestion.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:16:49 PM) dkap: We seem to be dragging just a bit.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:17:10 PM) Spot: Yeah
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:17:45 PM) meiglan: agreed
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:18:35 PM) dkap: Perhaps I should have a wandering monster attack? Let's see ... scary Nos, punk wolf ... I know just the thing. 5 year old girl, prone to temper tantrums.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:20:02 PM) ***Spot recoils in terror.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:20:07 PM) Spot: Not a little girl!
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:20:14 PM) Spot: ...wait. I eat her.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:22:04 PM) dkap: She gives you indigestion.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:22:18 PM) meiglan: glad you got to her first
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:22:38 PM) Spot: igh.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:23:24 PM) Spot: You want what's left?
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:23:30 PM) Spot: I think I'm done with her.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:23:36 PM) dkap: The sight of Spot with indigestion gives meiglan the hiccups.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:24:01 PM) meiglan: ewww sloppy seconds.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:26:16 PM) dkap: *grin*
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:26:18 PM) Spot: She's not tasty anyways
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:27:09 PM) dkap: At least, she didn't have a chance to have one of her famous temper-tantrums.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:27:14 PM) dkap: But the blood might still be tasty.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:27:36 PM) Spot: it's still warm.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:28:48 PM) meiglan: yeah....but she gave YOU indigestion.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:29:12 PM) Spot: ......snarl
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:33:48 PM) meiglan: Can't I just have one of my own? Little girls aways travel in hoards anyway.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:34:31 PM) ***Spot looks around for more little girls.
(8:03:52 PM) Cagliostro: (10:35:01 PM) dkap: There were her two friends, they left a dust-cloud, and tracks ...

(8:04:49 PM) Cagliostro: bah, flooding.
(8:04:52 PM) Cagliostro: how much got out?

(8:07:19 PM) Cagliostro: hellos? did you see any of the log I pasted?
(8:07:38 PM) Delna: (10:16:49 PM) dkap: We seem to be dragging just a bit. -- That's it
(8:07:39 PM) dkap: nope
(8:07:48 PM) Cagliostro: bah. let me try in smaller chunks.
(8:07:49 PM) arkhonII: Nope. Lemme go check.
(8:08:13 PM) Cagliostro: (10:17:10 PM) Spot: Yeah
(8:08:13 PM) Cagliostro: (10:17:45 PM) meiglan: agreed

(8:08:54 PM) Cagliostro: (10:23:30 PM) Spot: I think I'm done with her.
(8:08:54 PM) Cagliostro: (10:23:36 PM) dkap: The sight of Spot with indigestion gives meiglan the hiccups.
(8:08:54 PM) Cagliostro: (10:24:01 PM) meiglan: ewww sloppy seconds.

(8:09:16 PM) Cagliostro: (10:35:01 PM) dkap: There were her two friends, they left a dust-cloud, and tracks ...
(8:09:37 PM) Cagliostro: then we talked a bit about Bingo the bone gnawer, then they were discussing eating Kaylee, and then we decided it was a good idea to breka for the night.
(8:10:34 PM) Delna: Heh. Thanks.
(8:12:19 PM) dkap: Simon was quite distraught at the thought of such savagery.
(8:12:39 PM) Cagliostro: hopefully it gets cleaned up before Cagliostro comes back.
(8:13:05 PM) dkap: Especially after the reavers.
(8:13:11 PM) Delna: I'm sure he was.
(8:13:45 PM) Cagliostro: so Janice is still around, as are the staff, and hopefully they clean things up.
(8:14:22 PM) Delna: Delna will be making sure that things get cleaned up and people are spoken to about doing such things in public, or at all.
(8:14:30 PM) Cagliostro: Cagliostro will return at some point and conjure a structure over Serenity, which doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Some obviously faux-mideval barn-scale shed.
(8:14:55 PM) dkap: After a few moments of shock and one ill-concieved attempt at heroism.
(8:15:51 PM) Delna: I believe we were going to try and gather the hoards for a town meeting as well.
(8:16:59 PM) Cagliostro: town meeting sounds like a good idea; you can set that up while we take stock of the state of the Serenity.
(8:17:08 PM) Cagliostro: minus Kaylee, who's presumably still in shock.
(8:17:18 PM) Delna: sounds like a plan
(8:19:56 PM) dkap: The girl and the perpetrators safely tucked away ... the plans can begin.
(8:21:48 PM) dkap: Do you want a stage, or a second building for the town meeting?
(8:22:56 PM) Delna: If some sort of building is available for use, I would prefer that. Perhaps the one we are staying in if the space there will allow it.
(8:23:14 PM) Cagliostro: it's a castle; there should be a great hall or chapel with the proper acoustics.
(8:23:21 PM) Cagliostro: unconsecrated, naturally ;)
(8:23:28 PM) dkap: There is.
(8:24:12 PM) Delna: I would also like to extend an invitation to Spot to have her or someone from her groups speak for her people. Perhaps the pup who decided to join us as well if he would speak.
(8:25:36 PM) Delna: Once the arrangements have been made, before the meeting if there is any time, I would like to briefly consult the advisors helping on this. To see what their gathered opinion is.
(8:25:39 PM) dkap: Careful of the word choice ... "fetch" was used.
(8:26:25 PM) dkap: "Speak" might be as bad.
(8:26:56 PM) dkap: Opinion on which issues?
(8:31:04 PM) Delna: On the issue of the wolves staying here on this world
(8:31:23 PM) dkap: Whoops I've gotten a touch distracted ... I'll be back in a moment.
(8:33:17 PM) dkap left the room (quit: Quit).
(8:38:10 PM) Cagliostro: While dkap is out: something else that Cagliostro is considering is that if the refugees are not able to live comfortably in a single world, we may need to create new realms.
(8:38:30 PM) Cagliostro: Now, I've never done this before, and have no idea how to go about it. But it's worth trying. And it could work.
(8:38:54 PM) Cagliostro: It might be good to revisit legends on creation and on what could be seeds for new realities.
(8:39:43 PM) Delna: Hmm, definitely an adventurous thought
(8:40:55 PM) dkap [~irchon@static-72-72-80-24.bstnma.east.verizon.net] entered the room.
(8:40:57 PM) Cagliostro: and one that could be used to distract people from feeling claustrophobic - but a thought with a limited lifespan if we can'tmake it work.
(8:40:59 PM) dkap left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(8:41:10 PM) Delna: True enough
(8:41:27 PM) dkap [~irchon@static-72-72-80-24.bstnma.east.verizon.net] entered the room.
(8:42:23 PM) Cagliostro: k
(8:42:33 PM) Cagliostro: this is a good thing?
(8:44:04 PM) dkap: And this program logs out after a minute of inactivity. With, of course, no logs.
(8:45:10 PM) dkap: Well, we've been supposedly moving there since about 3:30.
(8:45:23 PM) Cagliostro: yick.
(8:46:06 PM) Delna: Igh.
(8:46:24 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(8:46:48 PM) Cagliostro: so I have shared with Delna's cagliostro's idea of constructing new worlds to fill the gaps left by the old.
(8:46:57 PM) Cagliostro: she has prounounced it adventurous.
(8:47:38 PM) dkap left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(8:48:12 PM) dkap [~irchon@static-72-72-80-24.bstnma.east.verizon.net] entered the room.
(8:48:19 PM) dkap left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(8:48:52 PM) Delna: I think that plan is one that Delna would support more than one that meant more war for her world.
(8:53:50 PM) Cagliostro: bouncy bouncy.
(8:55:24 PM) Cagliostro: him, I mean. ;)
(9:06:35 PM) Cagliostro: so to create a world, I think you need an egg that it'll hatch out of
(9:06:44 PM) Cagliostro: coming up with such an egg is ... tricky.
(9:09:08 PM) Kintani [~Kintani@c-75-67-240-124.hsd1.nh.comcast.net] entered the room.
(9:09:25 PM) Cagliostro: hello, Kintani. Dkap is intermittently here via smartphone.
(9:09:25 PM) Delna: Were there any mages saved from my world. They seemed to be getting the hang of creating worlds. Perhaps they would have some useful information.
(9:09:41 PM) Cagliostro: There were five; I will certainly consult them. Good suggestion.
(9:10:08 PM) Kintani: There will be no Bebhinn tonight. She is now wrangling the sick kidling.
(9:10:21 PM) Cagliostro: that could get messy.
(9:10:21 PM) Kintani is now known as Ammon
(9:10:57 PM) Cagliostro: Ammon, Cagliostro is considering how to try to create new worlds to give people some more room.
(9:11:14 PM) Cagliostro: Also, you should probably talk to Delna, who is in charge of organizing the sanguinarians, as much as anyone is.
(9:11:37 PM) Cagliostro: They are trying to decide what their relationship to the werewolves should be in this new place.
(9:12:50 PM) arkhonII: Eep
(9:14:50 PM) Cagliostro: Caelin, hopefully Cagliostro doesn't have the knowledge or power to be dangerous. But we'll see. ;)
(9:15:00 PM) arkhonII: LOL
(9:16:47 PM) Ammon: As to the Wolves and Vampires living together, at least from 'my world', they were natural enemies, which could lead to some necessary re-education if you want to put them in the same area when they know it.
(9:17:58 PM) Cagliostro: we do have a situation where at least one werewolf and vampire were friends in their before world, and wish to remain near each other, to also include other werewolves.
(9:18:19 PM) Ammon: As to 'World-building', with the local Realm's permission, I could go out hunting for some of the recently made homeless Gods, who may have some knowledge/skill in the area.
(9:19:02 PM) Ammon: Oh, I have friends who are Vampires as well, but that general pattern was the exception, not the norm.
(9:19:41 PM) Cagliostro: The local gods are likely to find this world - the Outer World - to be an inimical environment. They would have some experience, and also some interest. However, we may not want to live in their worlds.
(9:20:36 PM) Ammon: I was thinking of finding a few gods that were from the same places as the races in question.
(9:21:01 PM) Cagliostro: I've lived places that I didn't appreciate the local gods, and I'm sure vice versa.
(9:21:14 PM) Ammon: It'd keep the environment 'correct' for the races involved, but would require some 'divine juggling' here
(9:24:04 PM) Cagliostro: So, I have spoken with the powers that be here, and they made it clear that up until the refugees arrived, worshipping the local Goddess was an aspect of this world.
(9:24:20 PM) Cagliostro: I haven't noticed any change in my refugee population yet - but it's early days, yet.
(9:24:31 PM) Ammon: And, I've never lived in a place where I like all of the local gods, and I am a god, if a small one
(9:24:53 PM) Cagliostro: Hm. So as a god, do you perceive anything... odd about this place?
(9:25:29 PM) ***arkhonII (winces. "Gods...why'd it have to be gods?")
(9:25:32 PM) Ammon: ((Looks for a GM)) Hmmm... the 'vision' is a bit fuzzy at the moment, but I'll work on that for you.
(9:25:45 PM) Cagliostro: indeed.
(9:25:49 PM) Cagliostro: (moving on)
(9:25:57 PM) Cagliostro: so I take it you don't have a lot of experience with world-building, either?
(9:26:20 PM) Ammon: I do not, but the head of my new Pantheon does, so I can ask her.
(9:26:28 PM) Cagliostro: Much appreciated.
(9:27:12 PM) Ammon: She's presently wrangling survivors out of the collapsing worlds, so there may be a short (no GM0 delay. ;-)
(9:28:47 PM) Cagliostro: That would seem to be a higher priority, yes.
(9:29:08 PM) Ammon: You might know her. She's called Vera
(9:29:32 PM) Cagliostro: but if there are more coming, we may want more places to keep them. I have been told that the existence of my world in the larger one causes a strain, but fortunately we are welcome guests none the less.
(9:29:37 PM) Ammon: I know she's been fairly active with the disembodied voice, Ilk.
(9:30:39 PM) Cagliostro: Yes, that's one of the reasons we're welcome guests here.
(9:30:51 PM) Cagliostro: I have met Verra before, at a very odd tea party. With whales, as I recall.
(9:31:10 PM) ***arkhonII (*snort*)
(9:32:10 PM) Cagliostro: (s/that/the disembodied voice/)
(9:32:14 PM) Ammon: As for keeping the wolves and vampires here, if you integrate the wolves into the cultures that best map to the ones they left, they'll keep to the fringes. From my experience, the Vampires will tend towards cities. That may give you somewhat of a buffer to keep them civil to one another
(9:33:20 PM) Ammon: Verra was very kind and adopted myself and my Divine Parents when our Realm collapsed.
(9:34:43 PM) Ammon: Making it clear that the Wolves no longer need to protect this Realm from the Vampires may also help keep them civil. In the worlds like mine, that conflict was divinely driven in a lot of cases
(9:35:01 PM) dkap [~irchon@static-72-72-80-24.bstnma.east.verizon.net] entered the room.
(9:35:11 PM) ***arkhonII cheers!
(9:35:37 PM) Ammon: We're scaring Caelin
(9:36:06 PM) arkhonII: (That's not that hard. Caelin is scared by his head people)
(9:36:06 PM) Delna: Yay!
(9:36:52 PM) Ammon: (Caelin's head people are dangerous)
(9:37:15 PM) arkhonII: (I think most of my head people remaining ARE gods)
(9:37:23 PM) dkap: What are you doing to Caelin.
(9:37:38 PM) Cagliostro: yay, the room.
(9:37:42 PM) arkhonII: (Not to worry...not broken...any more than usual, at least)
(9:37:45 PM) Cagliostro: Cagliostro has introduced Delna to Ammon
(9:37:49 PM) Cagliostro: probably a pre-meeting thing
(9:38:02 PM) Cagliostro: Ammon has discussed asking gods like Verra for advice on world-creation, which is reasonable.
(9:38:05 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(9:38:34 PM) Cagliostro: Cagliostro has asked Ammon if he sees anything odd about Darkover with his god-senses, since Faythe told Cagliostro that Faythe-worship appeared to be an aspect of Darkover.
(9:38:41 PM) Cagliostro: and we deferred that for a GM.
(9:38:59 PM) Ammon: So Ammon will now take a sniff around
(9:39:18 PM) dkap: Cool!
(9:39:22 PM) Delna: (Delna is in favor of the idea of new worlds over submitting to certain war in this new world)
(9:39:42 PM) dkap: Good good.
(9:39:53 PM) Ammon: (War isn't much fun, and it's a bit hard on recently rescued populations)
(9:41:53 PM) Delna: (And Delna very much detests needless death)
(9:42:29 PM) dkap: Problem is, with shadow gone ... there is little space to make new spaces.
(9:43:09 PM) arkhonII: (What? Shadow's gone??? Caelin needs to check his memos more often...)
(9:44:05 PM) Cagliostro: ah, but Cagliostro doesn't know that...
(9:44:20 PM) dkap: We are back when Caelin made shadow go away.
(9:44:22 PM) Cagliostro: (and anyway, what space there is, is next to real places like Darkover)
(9:44:36 PM) Cagliostro: (I think)
(9:45:27 PM) arkhonII: (Ah...)
(9:46:15 PM) dkap: Nope. Kraken not worm, but, again the Count wouldn't know.
(9:55:02 PM) Ammon: (From a Divine Standpoint, how does Darkover look?)
(9:58:28 PM) dkap: Very quiet.
(9:59:14 PM) dkap: And if you make much noise, They will shush you.
(9:59:33 PM) Ammon: Interesting.
(9:59:53 PM) Ammon: politely, quietly, inquire as to why they keep it so quiet.
(10:01:42 PM) dkap: "If you draw attention, you tend never to be heard from agin."
(10:02:12 PM) Ammon: "Okay... Does anyone know why?"
(10:03:21 PM) dkap: No response.
(10:03:39 PM) Ammon: (Politely ask the Verra Pantheon Channel what's up with Darkover, and what had all of the dieties there scared.)
(10:06:20 PM) Ammon: (has all, even)
