(07:59:05 PM) Cagliostro [~sgorton@c-66-31-32-142.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] entered the room.
(07:59:16 PM) Cagliostro: hello hello
(07:59:33 PM) mode (+o dkap) by ChanServ
(08:00:15 PM) dkap: Greetings.
(08:03:52 PM) Delna: Greetings!
(08:08:01 PM) Caelin [~arkhon@pool-96-255-198-129.washdc.fios.verizon.net] entered the room.
(08:08:30 PM) Caelin: Greetings
(08:10:57 PM) Spot [~chatzilla@c-24-91-25-71.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] entered the room.
(08:11:13 PM) Spot: Hello!
(08:11:28 PM) ***Caelin waves.
(08:14:44 PM) Cagliostro: woo, something approaching quorum
(08:15:15 PM) Caelin: Quorum! InconCIEVable!
(08:15:31 PM) dkap: I do not think that word means what you think it means.
(08:15:37 PM) dkap: Anybody want a peanut?
(08:15:45 PM) ***Caelin giggles
(08:15:54 PM) ***Spot layughs
(08:16:54 PM) dkap: And with the Count and Spot here ...
(08:17:20 PM) dkap: I believe we were ... hrm ... had we begun the negotiations? Or were we still in the gating stage?
(08:17:48 PM) Cagliostro: the Count was preparing to experiment
(08:17:53 PM) Caelin: The gating stage had just finished, it looks to be.
(08:17:56 PM) Spot: We were gating back to get some the Count thinks negotiates better than the sleepy werewolf, I though
(08:18:06 PM) Caelin: Oops. Got it.
(08:18:15 PM) Cagliostro: since he was unwilling to let the werewolves negotiate, and didn't want to be the front person or to put his daughter in a position of danger
(08:18:54 PM) Cagliostro: so he was going to try to figure out how to wake up a vampire
(08:19:00 PM) Cagliostro: using the nosferatu as a subject
(08:19:06 PM) dkap: So, the gating back had finished. Right.
(08:21:37 PM) dkap: Any particular Nos? Or just wander into the castle's main room and see everyone bunked down together?
(08:21:54 PM) Cagliostro: Meiglan, I think
(08:22:00 PM) Cagliostro: she seemed sensible
(08:22:13 PM) dkap: Excellent!
(08:22:14 PM) Cagliostro: but yet not irreplaceable if I screw up ;)
(08:22:19 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(08:24:33 PM) Cagliostro: so there should be some sort of way of calibrating the humors magically to create the impression of night in the vampire's body
(08:24:41 PM) Cagliostro: probably some sort of golden armband as the anchor
(08:25:17 PM) Raziel [~chatzilla@ool-4354aed1.dyn.optonline.net] entered the room.
(08:25:41 PM) Raziel: (hello, don't mind me, I'm still watching)
(08:25:53 PM) ***Caelin smiles.
(08:25:54 PM) dkap: Excellent! Welcome!
(08:26:13 PM) Spot: there he is
(08:26:21 PM) Raziel: Sorry about my lateness, work and all that
(08:26:30 PM) dkap: Being that the "impression of night" seems to be related to the equivalent of a giant umbrella, over your world ...
(08:26:31 PM) Caelin: Dude, life happens.
(08:26:45 PM) Cagliostro: well, that is the simplest solution
(08:27:01 PM) Cagliostro: if a circular nightshade ward works, then yay team
(08:28:32 PM) dkap: Well ... shouldn't you first figure out why they even perceive something between them and the sun as "night"?
(08:29:02 PM) Cagliostro: SURE
(08:29:04 PM) Cagliostro: ahem
(08:29:05 PM) Cagliostro: sure.
(08:29:17 PM) Cagliostro: what can I tell about the differences in body processes between day & night?
(08:29:40 PM) dkap: Currently? In normal humans, it's based on the amount of light reaching them, in the right spectrums.
(08:30:40 PM) dkap: By putting the rotating shade over your world, bringing night and day in their proportions, all it does is effect the level of light, as far as you know.
(08:31:15 PM) Cagliostro: right, but the vampires seem to be in 'night mode' inside
(08:31:21 PM) Cagliostro: and to transition to 'day mode', also inside
(08:31:40 PM) Cagliostro: so presumably the spectrum has nothing to do with the vampire issue
(08:32:21 PM) Cagliostro: so, can I tell any difference by examining the vampires magically during the day?
(08:32:32 PM) dkap: Indeed. Hence, once you think about it, you are completely confused as to why the Vampires perceive a difference.
(08:32:33 PM) Cagliostro: I think I have already had cause to look at the dissected ones at night, at least
(08:32:43 PM) dkap: You have.
(08:32:55 PM) Cagliostro: not confused, merely no data as of yet.
(08:33:27 PM) dkap: Indeed. A lack of data is a better explation.
(08:33:37 PM) Cagliostro: so, difference?
(08:34:01 PM) dkap: On what level are you looking?
(08:35:06 PM) Cagliostro: metabolic, but also mysic
(08:35:24 PM) Cagliostro: it could be physiological, but it's more likely mystical
(08:35:47 PM) dkap: Lens at the fore?
(08:35:51 PM) Cagliostro: it could be that there's some solar property that penetrates where visual light does not
(08:35:53 PM) Cagliostro: of course
(08:37:31 PM) dkap: Well, you could grab one of the Vamps, and gate to a spot that is in darkness at the moment, and see if you can lens any differences ...
(08:38:58 PM) Cagliostro: reasonable
(08:39:09 PM) Cagliostro: but did I notice any difference between what I saw before?
(08:39:17 PM) dkap: Nothing as to yet.
(08:39:21 PM) Cagliostro: or do I need to take a full baseline in the day, then teleport, and compare again?
(08:39:23 PM) Cagliostro: okay, will do that.
(08:39:32 PM) dkap: But, if you aren't specifically looking for it, you might not see anything out of the ordinary.
(08:39:44 PM) Cagliostro: after preparing the 'why we're doing this' explanation for Meiglan that neglects to mention possible side effects
(08:39:44 PM) dkap: Full baseline completed.
(08:40:27 PM) Cagliostro: okay, open a gate somewhere very dark, outside the room with the other vampires, carry her through the gate
(08:40:46 PM) Cagliostro: expect a possibility of her waking up hungry. point the sleeping vampire away from vital veins and arteries.
(08:42:09 PM) dkap: Pointed, once she ends up in the "darkness" she is instantly awake.
(08:42:56 PM) dkap: She looks around and wonders aloud "Did everyone else die in their sleep, or is something strange going on?"
(08:43:38 PM) Cagliostro: "Something unusual. I found the people who I think are dissecting the locals, and I'd like to bring along a couple of vampires to discuss our objections."
(08:44:03 PM) Cagliostro: "And that means finding a way to get you moving in what is to some extent 'day'. So I'm trying to determine how to do that."
(08:44:12 PM) ***Cagliostro takes second baseline of Meiglan.
(08:46:40 PM) dkap: The only, tiny, differences in Meiglan is a small piece of her aura that is ... slightly changed.
(08:47:09 PM) Cagliostro: hm.
(08:47:14 PM) Cagliostro: can I figure out what that means?
(08:47:23 PM) dkap: It basically changed from a line to a circle.
(08:47:48 PM) dkap: What it means? Hard to say.
(08:48:19 PM) Cagliostro: huh.
(08:48:50 PM) ***Cagliostro creates a gold bracelet that is a vampire-portable version of the ward around the world, but visible light only
(08:49:03 PM) Cagliostro: maybe 5' radius
(08:49:15 PM) Cagliostro: then open a gate to a light-tight area in the dayworld, and convince meiglan to step through.
(08:49:17 PM) Cagliostro: for science!
(08:49:54 PM) Spot: lol
(08:50:10 PM) dkap: The piece of the aura goes from circle to line, and Meiglan falls asleep. But doesn't catch on fire or anything else along those lines.
(08:50:26 PM) Cagliostro: hm.
(08:50:43 PM) Cagliostro: replace with exact replica of ward, large enough for us both to fit in
(08:50:47 PM) Cagliostro: light-tight, etc.
(08:50:57 PM) Cagliostro: but spherical
(08:50:57 PM) dkap: No change.
(08:51:11 PM) ***Cagliostro harumphs.
(08:51:24 PM) Cagliostro: okay, new plan.
(08:51:41 PM) Cagliostro: re-use existing gate from dayworld to nightworld
(08:51:53 PM) Cagliostro: create new gate in nightworld to darkover outside my world
(08:52:14 PM) Cagliostro: in darkover, create a light-tight bubble dome, similar to our world's ward
(08:52:41 PM) dkap: Right ...
(08:52:42 PM) Cagliostro: carry meiglan from dayworld to nightworld, then convince her to walk into darkworld
(08:52:59 PM) Cagliostro: surrepticiously get ready to shove her back through the ward slash extinguish fire
(08:53:28 PM) dkap: She wakes back up, walks through to Darkworld, does not burst into flames, and stays awake.
(08:53:48 PM) Cagliostro: "Aha!"
(08:54:45 PM) Cagliostro: go back, get Delna, same deal
(08:54:55 PM) dkap: She scratches under some of her spines, picks forth a nit, examines it, and then, decides it's food, and eats it.
(08:55:18 PM) Cagliostro: explain to them what Spot and I saw - a group of mages performing a magical working linked to what's happened here
(08:55:44 PM) Cagliostro: "These towers tend to be wildly variant in their openness to reasonable discussion. But we are guests here, so we'll try."
(08:55:56 PM) ***Spot yawns and nods.
(08:55:59 PM) Cagliostro: Go back to dayworld, and tell Ammon what's going on
(08:56:08 PM) Spot: "Can I eat them if negotiations fail?"
(08:56:12 PM) Cagliostro: gm: do I have any banish fatigue spells or healing things.
(08:56:38 PM) dkap: Did you bring Delna directly to Darkworld? Or through Night first?
(08:56:40 PM) ***Cagliostro hesitates. "yesss... but do try to wait longer than you normally would."
(08:56:45 PM) Cagliostro: through Night first
(08:56:51 PM) ***Spot smiles and nods.
(08:56:57 PM) dkap: So Delna wakes, when brought to Night.
(08:57:05 PM) Cagliostro: I am figuring that Night sets the Night bit, and then Darkover fails to adjust the existing settings
(08:57:16 PM) dkap: For Spot, you can easily remove the fatigue poisons from the blood, you've done that before, numerous times, successfully.
(08:57:20 PM) Cagliostro: if it doesn't need to work that way, then meh
(08:57:38 PM) ***Cagliostro absentmindedly removes all the fatigue toxins from Spot after he yawns
(08:57:38 PM) dkap: Going to night does change it from a line to a circle.
(08:57:56 PM) dkap: And walking to Darkworld does not reset it.
(08:58:42 PM) dkap: (So, Delna, you are awake.
(08:58:54 PM) ***Cagliostro is content to follow the path that worked, rather than exhaust all opportunities.
(08:59:04 PM) Cagliostro: s/opportunities/alternatives/
(09:00:08 PM) Cagliostro: is Ammon coming along?
(09:00:20 PM) Cagliostro: I'll also bring along the two Ifrit I had
(09:01:05 PM) dkap: The two ifrit are happy to go, Ammon thinks he'd be better off watching the vamps.
(09:01:17 PM) dkap: (He doesn't like most mages, to begin with.)
(09:01:58 PM) Delna: So we know that there are people performing some sort of magical rite which happens to be tearing our people to shreds, though we know not if this is intentional or unintentional, and we are here to negotiate
(09:02:34 PM) Cagliostro: "I suspect it's intentional, but it may be a cultural miscommunication. Or it may be some form of prejudice which we can trick, beat, or cajole them from acting on."
(09:03:21 PM) Cagliostro: "Otherwise, yes. We are there to put a face and a voice to the consequences of their actions."
(09:03:37 PM) Spot: "And possibly eat them if they don't listen."
(09:03:49 PM) Delna: "I see. Is there a place where we can observe what they are doing, possibly get a lay of the area?"
(09:03:57 PM) Cagliostro: "A face and a voice and possibly a mouth."
(09:03:58 PM) Spot: "We'll need a few more wolves for eating. ...although we can share with the leeches."
(09:04:11 PM) Cagliostro: "Spot, could you bring us all into this 'umbra'?"
(09:04:44 PM) Spot: "On my own? One or two. But each of the werewolves could bring someone over."
(09:05:16 PM) Delna: "Depending on how many of them there are, it might not be a bad idea to have a couple more wolves for back up."
(09:05:27 PM) Hegara [~Hegara@c-66-31-5-197.hsd1.nh.comcast.net] entered the room.
(09:05:59 PM) dkap: The more wolves you bring, the less you have watching the rest of the sleeping vamps.
(09:07:34 PM) Delna: mmm, point
(09:07:56 PM) Cagliostro: "Let's try bringing through myself and Delna to the tower and into the Umbra, if you would."
(09:08:11 PM) ***Cagliostro hands Delna and Meiglan the earlier vampire-portable light blocks.
(09:08:27 PM) Cagliostro: "I trust it is the actual presence of sunlight is what you are allergic to?"
(09:10:34 PM) ***Delna cocks an eyebrow and looks at item "well, that depends I suppose. Usually I would say yes, but there have been worlds with sun we have recently encountered that proved that not to be the case."
(09:10:58 PM) ***Spot waits til everyone seems ready
(09:11:23 PM) Cagliostro: "Then this will be an experiment. you should wear this, to block sunlight."
(09:12:54 PM) ***Delna hesitates, then nods. Looks to meiglan to have her put the item on and turns to Spot. "Ready."
(09:13:53 PM) ***Cagliostro hands spot a small mirror and hand flashlight
(09:14:17 PM) Cagliostro: and then we open a gate and go through
(09:14:20 PM) dkap: I don't think the flashlight is necessary.
(09:15:08 PM) Cagliostro: well, I do have perfect lightblockers with 5' radii
(09:15:12 PM) ***Spot looks at the count and wonders where he'll hold things, but drops the mirror to the ground. "Next trip to the Umbra in six..." takes hold of the count ... "fives...." grabs Delna, " four three twoone" he dives through the mirror dragging the other two along."
(09:15:42 PM) Cagliostro: (gate then umbra, hopefully that's clear)
(09:17:51 PM) dkap: Gate to the tower area?
(09:19:02 PM) Cagliostro: si
(09:19:09 PM) Cagliostro: perhaps a mile off
(09:19:29 PM) Cagliostro: unless I spotted an empty room earlier that looked very disused
(09:19:54 PM) dkap: No disused room around or in the tower.
(09:20:43 PM) Cagliostro: a mile off it i
(09:20:44 PM) Cagliostro: s
(09:20:54 PM) Cagliostro: if we're spotted, it'll count as foreshadowing
(09:21:06 PM) Cagliostro: gate darkover to darkover
(09:22:45 PM) dkap: In the presence of the tower, the Dark goes away, but, for some reason, they neither burst into flames nor fall asleep.
(09:23:06 PM) Cagliostro: "Huh."
(09:23:41 PM) ***Spot stares at the vamps.
(09:23:43 PM) Spot: Weird
(09:25:26 PM) Delna: "Weird is quickly becoming commonplace around here."
(09:25:28 PM) Cagliostro: Delna, fyi: there are three suns overhead.
(09:25:43 PM) Cagliostro: "So, that's the tower."
(09:26:27 PM) Delna: Can we see in to get an idea of what is going on there?
(09:26:44 PM) Cagliostro: "From the Umbra, yes."
(09:26:55 PM) Cagliostro: so Spot takes us to the umbra after dropping the mirror?
(09:27:01 PM) Spot: yes
(09:27:20 PM) Hegara left the room (quit: Quit).
(09:27:42 PM) dkap: A moment.
(09:27:58 PM) Cagliostro: and once in the umbra, I'll give Delna the lens, which she can use to see the real world from the umbra
(09:36:08 PM) Caelin: ping
(09:36:22 PM) dkap: Sorry, catching Meiglan up.
(09:36:28 PM) Caelin: Gotcha.
(09:36:59 PM) Delna_ [~chatzilla@c-71-228-78-177.hsd1.fl.comcast.net] entered the room.
(09:37:40 PM) Delna left the room.
(09:37:55 PM) Delna_ is now known as Delna
(09:38:26 PM) dkap: Right ..
(09:39:31 PM) dkap: Where were we?
(09:39:42 PM) Cagliostro: entering the umbra
(09:39:44 PM) dkap: Oh, yes. In the umbra, looking at them working in the tower.
(09:39:50 PM) Cagliostro: si
(09:40:06 PM) Cagliostro: it is probably worth telling delna & meiglan what the tower looks like in the umbra
(09:40:29 PM) dkap: True ...
(09:41:55 PM) dkap: The view from the umbra, you have the misty illusion of walls, the lines that are the weaver weavings running to the blue stone in the tower, and representative forms of those in the tower doing the workings over the blue stone.
(09:44:15 PM) dkap: Does that help?
(09:45:02 PM) Delna: Can we get a sense for how many there seem to be in there. i.e. many or not so many>
(09:46:28 PM) dkap: 13.
(09:46:51 PM) dkap: (or at least, there are thirteen shadows in the Umbra)
(09:47:11 PM) ***Cagliostro will offer his lens to Delna, so that she can look at the tower in the real world as well.
(09:47:56 PM) dkap: Each shadow maps onto an individual, and there does seem to be an extra individual, who doesn't have a shadow in the Umbra.
(09:48:10 PM) Delna: Ok. Can I hear them speaking at all and can I discern anything about the languages they are speaking? Also, is there anything particular about their auras?
(09:48:12 PM) dkap: But the closer you get to the tower, the harder it is to see through the lens.
(09:48:51 PM) Delna: ah. I would like to make a mental note of any distinguishing features of the individual who does not produce a shadow
(09:49:02 PM) dkap: You can only vaguely see them through the lens, and you have no idea of the language or if they are actually speaking.
(09:49:11 PM) dkap: And ... well ... you can't see their auras through the lens.
(09:49:34 PM) dkap: The most distinguishing feature is that the seem to be sweeping the floor at the moment.
(09:50:39 PM) Delna: hmm, mention the person with no shadow to the Count and Spot.
(09:51:02 PM) Cagliostro: gm: can I see him through the lens, and does he look familiar to the Count?
(09:51:10 PM) Cagliostro: "I did not notice that."
(09:51:20 PM) dkap: She, and no.
(09:51:36 PM) Spot: "mmmmmm. "
(09:51:36 PM) dkap: (And she might not have been there when you looked last, you would have noticed her.)
(09:51:59 PM) Spot: GM: What normally doesn't have a shadow I'd be familiar with?
(09:52:01 PM) Delna: "We will want to keep an eye out for that individual when we get up there"
(09:52:07 PM) Cagliostro: "Indeed."
(09:52:43 PM) dkap: Spot: the more connected to any of the three powers, the more they show up in the Umbra, in your experience.
(09:52:58 PM) Spot: kay
(09:53:03 PM) dkap: Spot: So most people/things who just live their lives wouldn't show up, normally.
(09:54:38 PM) Spot: "I doubt she is important -- no shadow here, not very important at all. The stronger the spirit, the stronger the connection to the Wyld, Weaver, Wyrm, the more likely to imprint on this side."
(09:57:07 PM) Cagliostro: "Shall we step through, then? Delna, I believe that the women's-only towers are more likely to respond positively to a woman-led group, so if you would take point in our discussions...?"
(09:57:55 PM) ***Spot rolls his shoulders a moment and goes back to homid form.
(09:58:42 PM) Delna: "That is a good point. Though we may still want to keep an eye out. If this person is not of our world...this could perhaps cause the same effect."
(09:59:07 PM) Cagliostro: "Indeed."
(09:59:33 PM) ***Delna nods. "I will"
(09:59:55 PM) dkap: Spot, not having seen you before hominid, a quick description, if you please?
(10:02:27 PM) dkap: Meiglan: So these forms are the mages that seem to be working their ginsu on us?
(10:02:45 PM) Spot: Um, tall, dark hair, dark eyes, lean and feral looking, .....and still wings, they're a 'deformity' so they'd cross into every form, but I'd tightly fold them down
(10:02:46 PM) Cagliostro: "It appears so."
(10:03:11 PM) Spot: a good long coat and they're hardly noticable.
(10:03:30 PM) dkap: Any outstanding tats or scars?
(10:04:06 PM) Spot: What wings aren't enough? ;)
(10:04:07 PM) dkap: And the octagon shifts with you BTW, it was dedicated.
(10:04:12 PM) Spot: nod
(10:04:14 PM) Spot: yup
(10:04:15 PM) dkap: Just asking ... *grin*
(10:04:22 PM) Spot: i do have a cell phone.
(10:04:41 PM) dkap: That has no signal here ... for some odd and unknown reason ... *grin*
(10:05:35 PM) dkap: My question is, do you have "Skippy" Palpatine's number in your phonebook?
(10:05:38 PM) Delna: (don't pick it up. You'll become a head person :P)
(10:05:45 PM) dkap: Whoops, sorry, wrong game ...
(10:05:55 PM) Caelin: LOL
(10:06:38 PM) Delna: Should we move forward?
(10:06:52 PM) Spot: actualy its the umbraphone
(10:06:59 PM) Spot: it really *ought* to have signal here
(10:07:12 PM) Spot: *not* having signal here would be terribly weird
(10:08:53 PM) dkap: Ring ring ring ring umbraphone ....
(10:09:13 PM) Cagliostro: well, we are several planetary radii from the nearest actual phone tower.
(10:09:22 PM) Cagliostro: so does Spot's umbraphone have signal?
(10:12:53 PM) dkap: Trying to figure that out at the moment ...
(10:24:05 PM) Cagliostro: we can skip past that if it'll take too long, and step back into the real world
(10:24:40 PM) dkap: Yes, there is signal.
(10:24:46 PM) dkap: Until the umbra is left.
(10:25:01 PM) Spot: Okay
(10:25:14 PM) dkap: So, Spot brings Delna through?
(10:25:22 PM) Spot: yes
(10:26:10 PM) Delna: I await the others to be brought through I am assuming
(10:26:43 PM) dkap: Being brought through in the tower room itself?
(10:26:58 PM) Raziel: (ok, stepping out. Night all, til next week.
(10:27:57 PM) dkap: Good night Raziel
(10:28:09 PM) Cagliostro: if we have to stagger, probably outside the main room
(10:28:17 PM) Cagliostro: if we can all go through at once, into the main room
(10:28:36 PM) Raziel left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(10:29:29 PM) Spot: I will bring people through as needed
(10:33:11 PM) dkap: Excellent! You all go through to the tower-room together.
(10:33:47 PM) dkap: Thankfully, there is a mirror in the room that you can take advantage of. It's a large mirror, and, for some reason, it has a set of steps leading down from the glass to the floor.
(10:34:57 PM) Cagliostro: sounds like a way to make an impressive entrance
(10:35:11 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(10:35:18 PM) Spot: yay impressive entrance
(10:35:48 PM) dkap: And, gives you a bit of a psycological advantage, because, apparently they are used to people coming in from there, and might not react immediately, until they see who it is.
(10:37:49 PM) dkap: In you go, all at once.
(10:38:24 PM) ***Cagliostro prepares to ward if necessary.
(10:38:25 PM) dkap: The sweeper stops sweeping and kneels, with her head bowed to the floor.
(10:38:34 PM) dkap: The others in the room have yet to react.
(10:40:21 PM) dkap: Or, apparently even notice. They seem to be concentrating on the magic that they are working.
(10:40:33 PM) dkap: Cagliostro, your buttons are very active in their collecting.
(10:40:48 PM) dkap: And the door is barred from the inside.
(10:41:23 PM) Cagliostro: gm: so a respectable amount of magic, on my scale? More than I can handle?
(10:41:55 PM) dkap: Respectable, but not quite on your scale.
(10:42:02 PM) Cagliostro: excellent.
(10:42:09 PM) ***Delna enters the room and summons a commanding demeanor. "Halt."
(10:45:02 PM) dkap: No reaction yet.
(10:46:33 PM) Delna: To the count, "Can you interrupt their magic?"
(10:46:38 PM) ***Cagliostro quietly deconjures a 1x1x1 area under the crystal
(10:47:25 PM) Cagliostro: gm: is there a way to throw in a magic-eating crystal into their workings without screwing us over?
(10:47:38 PM) dkap: It's ... unclear.
(10:48:29 PM) dkap: The crystal doesn't drop, but one of them wheels to you and demands to know what you want.
(10:49:09 PM) Cagliostro: gm: in the subfloor, I meant, not obviously
(10:49:17 PM) Cagliostro: so I could throw in a magic-eating crystal invisibly
(10:49:23 PM) Cagliostro: but the working might be detectable
(10:51:03 PM) dkap: The working is detectable, and that's when she wheeled to your group, and demanded what she did.
(10:51:21 PM) Cagliostro: k, np. just wanted to clarify where the gap in the stone was.
(10:51:31 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(10:51:48 PM) dkap: And it's before you get the magic-eating crystal in place.
(10:52:05 PM) Cagliostro: sure
(10:53:09 PM) ***Cagliostro will let Delna answer
(10:53:21 PM) Delna: "We want to know why you are killing our people."
(10:53:37 PM) dkap: Woman: WHAT?
(10:54:47 PM) Delna: "Our people are being slaughtered because of what you are doing right now. We want to stop this."
(10:55:07 PM) dkap: Woman: We are life-givers, not life-killers.
(10:58:53 PM) dkap: Did I drop from the channel?
(10:58:59 PM) Cagliostro: nope
(10:59:02 PM) Caelin: Not that I saw.
(10:59:06 PM) Delna: "Well, the magic you are doing is mutilating the bodies of our people in such a manner that they can not be mended. Please, can you hold your magic so that we may fix this?"
(10:59:23 PM) Delna: (sorry, half distracted with a sewing prj for my show this weekend)
(11:00:33 PM) dkap: Not a problem. Should we continue this next week? It is 11 ...
(11:01:01 PM) Cagliostro: I may or may not be around next week - work travel. We'll see.
(11:01:09 PM) Spot: nodnod sleepy spot
(11:01:24 PM) Caelin: Seems like a good holding point.
(11:01:28 PM) Caelin: Er hanging point.
(11:01:35 PM) dkap: Sleepy spot, distracted Delna, and remote Meiglan?
(11:01:39 PM) Cagliostro: but we can break, and I'll send some email so you can puppet cagliostro if necessary.
(11:01:45 PM) dkap: I think we should hang here.
(11:01:48 PM) dkap: Excellent!
(11:01:53 PM) Spot: night ngith
(11:01:56 PM) Spot left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(11:02:00 PM) Caelin left the room.
(11:02:03 PM) Cagliostro left the room.
(11:02:16 PM) Delna: night
(11:02:28 PM) Delna left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
