(08:10:21 PM) mode (+o dkap) by ChanServ
(08:10:22 PM) Spot is now known as Auricle
(08:12:54 PM) dkap: I am arrived.
(08:13:56 PM) Auricle: Excellent it worked
(08:14:59 PM) dkap: What worked?
(08:15:08 PM) dkap: The upgrade on my machine finishing?
(08:15:35 PM) Auricle: Rewriting reality.
(08:19:40 PM) Mistress_Janice: Cagliostro said he'd be here tonight.
(08:20:02 PM) dkap: Excellent.
(08:20:07 PM) dkap: Perhaps he needs a time poke ...
(08:20:44 PM) Cagliostro [~sgorton@c-66-31-32-142.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] entered the room.
(08:20:52 PM) Cagliostro: oh right, it's Tuesday
(08:21:26 PM) dkap: Voila.
(08:22:50 PM) Mistress_Janice: It is indeed.
(08:26:27 PM) dkap: Where did we leave off?
(08:28:22 PM) Mistress_Janice: Back at castle, one and all?
(08:28:34 PM) Cagliostro: And we have a revolution or counter-revolution going on
(08:28:47 PM) Auricle: I think Spot had collapsed in an exhausted heap, warily.
(08:29:15 PM) Cagliostro: and a 7" cube that somehow contains a mage
(08:29:54 PM) dkap: Right.
(08:33:20 PM) dkap: When he went into his cubical period ... at least it's not a blue period ...
(08:39:16 PM) dkap: So ... what path of action are people taking?
(08:39:40 PM) dkap: We have an exhausted woof, a father-daughter team, who delight in puzzles, a puzzle ...
(08:39:43 PM) Mistress_Janice: I think I was on-call for Delna.
(08:40:52 PM) Auricle is now known as Spot
(08:41:02 PM) ***Spot snores. warily. with a sword.
(08:41:16 PM) dkap: And Mistress_Janice has the ring, right?
(08:41:44 PM) Mistress_Janice: I think so... Just pcked it up to keep it out of the way. Anyone who wants it is welcome to it.
(08:42:07 PM) dkap: And the Count has the cube.
(08:42:18 PM) dkap: Who has the dragonfly? Meiglan?
(08:43:13 PM) Spot: I think so'
(08:43:50 PM) Cagliostro: yes, I think examining the cube with the lens.
(08:44:16 PM) dkap: It is ... well ... very dense.
(08:44:44 PM) Cagliostro: denser than if it was just the mage?
(08:44:55 PM) Cagliostro: does it seem to be a package somehow?
(08:46:27 PM) dkap: It could be a package, although, it does seem to mass about the same as the mage, and his stuff ... and maybe a touch more.
(08:47:39 PM) Cagliostro: hrm.
(08:47:47 PM) Cagliostro: is it more magic than he was?
(08:48:10 PM) dkap: Not especially. Within a measuring unit of what he was radiating.
(08:49:27 PM) Cagliostro: huh.
(08:51:14 PM) Cagliostro: something topological going on?
(08:51:21 PM) dkap: Very probably.
(08:52:06 PM) Cagliostro: is this something I have any experience with?
(08:52:36 PM) Mistress_Janice: Did it have anything to do with what we think he was trying to do?
(08:53:18 PM) dkap: Not any particular experience that you remember, as to yet, but ... it does seem to be an interesting little problem, and, perhaps, depending on the survivability of it, a very useful tool ...
(08:53:30 PM) Cagliostro: no, I think he was trying to mimic how I was rusting metal.
(08:53:35 PM) Delna [~chatzilla@97.97.71.100] entered the room.
(08:53:36 PM) Cagliostro: oh, this could be a defensive mechanism
(08:55:08 PM) dkap: It could be, at that.
(08:55:24 PM) Cagliostro: so if we can figure out a way to communicate with the cube, we can tell him the scene is clear
(08:55:40 PM) Cagliostro: I'll tell people that I suspect the mage did this to protect himself from being ejected from the umbra
(08:55:48 PM) Mistress_Janice: Didn't work.
(08:56:28 PM) ***Mistress_Janice waves at Delna. "Did you need me for something?"
(08:56:34 PM) Cagliostro: hello, Delna. We're still poking at the cube. We haven't done anything with the revolution.
(08:58:30 PM) Delna: gotcha
(09:06:41 PM) ***Mistress_Janice will roust up a dinner, while we're here.
(09:08:04 PM) dkap: Food is probably good, you've not eaten for several days.
(09:08:19 PM) Mistress_Janice: Which castle are we at?
(09:10:05 PM) ***Spot will wake if there are food smells.
(09:10:06 PM) dkap: Vampire castle, with the Serenity Shack, not the Count's Castle.
(09:10:23 PM) ***Mistress_Janice will be tactful then.
(09:10:28 PM) dkap: Mistress_Janice: are you making some nice, raw, recently dead things for Spot?
(09:10:42 PM) Mistress_Janice: ...making?
(09:10:48 PM) Spot: I'm a bsd, I eat hamburgers too :P
(09:10:59 PM) Mistress_Janice: Such things don't really need to be 'made' just found...
(09:11:02 PM) dkap: Well ... Causing to be able to be served up,
(09:11:34 PM) Mistress_Janice: Sure. They're working with us, Janice feels a responsibility to help out with their upkeep, too.
(09:13:52 PM) dkap: Carve off a chunk of the lamb or pig, before cooking it up for the rest, as it were?
(09:14:27 PM) Mistress_Janice: Might want to leave an entire carcass out. I have no idea how much Spot eats, but that Crinos form is big...
(09:15:28 PM) dkap: The Ifrit don't seem to eat, and I'm not sure what the Gorgon is up to, Meiglan and Delna are ... well ... mostly on that whole liquid diet thing.
(09:15:46 PM) dkap: Which means, mostly you, your father, the hamsterite and Spot.
(09:15:55 PM) ***Spot drools slightly.
(09:15:59 PM) dkap: Of course, you could cook something up for the crew of the Serenity as well ...
(09:16:27 PM) dkap: And you might want to have some for the mage, if he becomes uncubical.
(09:17:45 PM) ***Mistress_Janice hmmms. Tell the cooks (are there cooks?) to prepare a turkey dinner with trimmings, add a leg of lamb for other potential arrivals, and set out something nice and bloody for Spot. Janice will go check on the Serenity crew.
(09:19:11 PM) dkap: If there are cooks, you would have to import them.
(09:19:45 PM) ***Mistress_Janice tsks. I will get a dinner started, and while it's cooking, go check up on the crew.
(09:19:55 PM) Mistress_Janice: ...are there supplies?
(09:20:47 PM) ***Spot goes back to sleep while it's cooking, still looking exhausted.
(09:20:48 PM) Delna: not sure. there are probably a few vamps who can eat, but that is not really the kind of food we prefer
(09:20:53 PM) Cagliostro: probably only a limited amount at the village. but you can gate.
(09:21:59 PM) Mistress_Janice: No use importing everything for such limited use. Call my folk at the other castle, place an order, tell them to take their time, and I'll pick it up. Meanwhile, I'll...
(09:23:52 PM) dkap: Your folks at your stronghold? They are in the heart of London, they could get just about anything for you, already made.
(09:24:24 PM) Cagliostro: are they still in London or did they get moved to Cagliostro? Or are they in both places? Ilk set it up.
(09:24:40 PM) dkap: Well ... maybe not fresh strumpet, they have frowned on that since Red Jack.
(09:24:54 PM) Mistress_Janice: Yes, but I'd like time to see who else might be sitting down to dinner with us. Besides, I prefer home-cooked meals, I think.
(09:25:16 PM) dkap: Her crew? They are still in place, making sure everything is still running to Spec.
(09:26:33 PM) Cagliostro: I thought that Ilk had colocated the Archives with Castle Cagliostro
(09:26:42 PM) Cagliostro: at the request of Mistress Janice
(09:26:46 PM) Cagliostro: there might just be a gate though
(09:27:48 PM) Mistress_Janice: And Castle Cagliostro is in the Balkans, correct?
(09:27:52 PM) dkap: Just a Way, not even a gate.
(09:28:01 PM) Cagliostro: Alps
(09:28:05 PM) dkap: Alps indeed.
(09:28:08 PM) Cagliostro: ah, okay, a wait.
(09:28:20 PM) Cagliostro: Between the local france, germany, and switzerland
(09:28:29 PM) Mistress_Janice: Gotcha.
(09:32:43 PM) Cagliostro: gm: start sketching out a spell that will map out topological anomalies
(09:34:17 PM) dkap: For what value of topological anomoly.
(09:34:40 PM) Cagliostro: shortest distance between two points not being a straight line
(09:35:07 PM) Cagliostro: It may take an experiment or two to find that out
(09:36:57 PM) Cagliostro: to find a way to map out anomalies
(09:37:15 PM) Cagliostro: I might also experiment with light, or gravity
(09:38:38 PM) dkap: I'm not sure what you are scanning for ...
(09:39:39 PM) Cagliostro: I want to map out the inside
(09:39:46 PM) Cagliostro: to see if it's bigger on the inside than on the outside
(09:39:49 PM) Cagliostro: or if there's a path in
(09:39:53 PM) Cagliostro: or a thread that unravels
(09:39:58 PM) Cagliostro: or someplace I can knock, as it were
(09:41:16 PM) dkap: Of the cube. Right. Sorry, I lost the subject.
(09:50:19 PM) Delna: As far as I know I don't know that you guys are at the castle, so If I don't hear back from my radio call, I'll try a second time.
(09:51:03 PM) dkap: Right.
(09:51:19 PM) dkap: The radio crackles, and Delna says ...
(09:54:08 PM) Delna: "We may have to deal with a rather large rebellion here. What is going on where you guys are?"
(09:54:25 PM) Mistress_Janice: Who's got the radio? Count?
(09:55:00 PM) Cagliostro: "We had an umbra-shattering kaboom, and have come back to the castle. We're not that far from the Serenity Shack."
(09:56:15 PM) Delna: "That doesn't sound good. I'll head toward the serenity shack to find you"
(09:57:46 PM) Delna: And I will head that way
(09:58:14 PM) ***Mistress_Janice is, I think, at said shack, checking in with the crew and seeing if they'd like something like food.
(09:58:23 PM) dkap: Right.
(09:59:10 PM) Cagliostro: Cagliostro is somewhere quiet, approximately two Malcolm-attention-span-distances away from the shack
(10:01:30 PM) dkap: *grin*
(10:01:44 PM) Delna: Upon finding the Count and Janice ask, "I don't know what it took to get us to this place originally, but we may have to contemplate relocating some of the residents of this castle"
(10:01:47 PM) dkap: Sounds like a specific distance.
(10:03:30 PM) Mistress_Janice: I think I get found first. Daddy's working. :D
(10:04:19 PM) dkap: Indeed.
(10:04:25 PM) ***Mistress_Janice replies, "Well, there's a lot of 'place' out there - I'm sure we can find somewhere appropriate. What happened?"
(10:04:32 PM) dkap: Delna you come across Mistress_Janice talking to Simon about food.
(10:05:46 PM) Delna: As long as there is no food to be smelled..
(10:06:53 PM) dkap: Not as to yet.
(10:07:47 PM) Delna: "We began discussing feeding arrangements. Most of the vampires here have just taken their vitae from unwilling victims in the past though, they are not taking well to the idea of a feeding arrangement with the villagers"
(10:09:41 PM) Delna: "I stalled off the rebellion and am going to see what kinds of things the villagers would be comfortable with, but I may need another option if some are still unwilling to compromise"
(10:10:24 PM) ***Mistress_Janice sighs. "I imagine not. Perhaps I could... find them somewhere rather distant, where they'd be able to return to their old habits in relative peace. I'm sure Father had a reason for keeping them around here, though, so perhaps we'd better ask him."
(10:11:59 PM) Delna: "Yes, I figured there probably was a reason, so when he is available I would love to talk to him. In the meantime, I am going to talk to some of the villagers more about their needs and find out more from the rebellious group"
(10:12:04 PM) dkap: Simon: Umm, you mean that metaphorically, right? I mean, they don't _actually_ feed off the other people, they just "bleed" the resources, and the like ... right?
(10:15:20 PM) ***Mistress_Janice turns to Simon, and shakes her head. "I'm afraid they're real vampires. Sometimes things go far enough to kill victims - as I understand it, they're rather prone to rages, and some tend to consider humankind akin to cattle." She seems rather resigned to it all, rather than offended or upset.
(10:16:13 PM) ***Delna looks at Simon, "...here they are only allowed to feed with permission and in certain areas and not to kill."
(10:16:30 PM) dkap: Simon: Umm ... was that why you wanted bags of my blood?
(10:17:10 PM) Delna: "No. That was for Spot. They needed it for a binding of some malevolent spirit"
(10:17:43 PM) Delna: "We have a refilling cup that feeds them currently"
(10:18:48 PM) dkap: Simon: Umm ... binding a malevolent spirit?
(10:20:37 PM) Delna: "The spirit that was causing harm here to all the patients you were taking care of. That is how we were able to the maimings. But that is all taken care of now."
(10:21:52 PM) ***Mistress_Janice nods, and fishes in a skirt pocket, coming out with a kevlar mitt so she can show the ring. "More than one - this was contained as well. A good thing, too, it's apparently quite destructive. It's a ritual thing, Simon..."
(10:22:58 PM) dkap: Simon: I'm a doctor, and a damn good one. But I've never come across half the stuff you folks are talking about. You aren't trying to pull my leg, or anything?
(10:24:31 PM) Delna: "No. But its best you don't think too hard on these things. We are taking care of them so that they do not affect any of you."
(10:25:22 PM) dkap: Simon, looking thoughtful: It might be best if you don't tell Kaylee ... I don't know how she will react.
(10:26:14 PM) ***Mistress_Janice smiles. "Simon, it is in part because you are so dedicated that your blood has such uses. I am certainly not pulling your leg. As for 'half the stuff'... There's a lot of reality out there, Simon. More than any of us have seen." She repockets the ring. "Actually, I'd rather folk heard what there is to hear. Perhaps at dinner. I'd rather folk were free to talk about what issues are at hand,...
(10:26:15 PM) ***Mistress_Janice ...rather than let some crisis worsen because of nearby sensitive ears."
(10:29:16 PM) dkap: Simon: Well, Kaylee still hasn't gotten over the fact that the engines seem to have some of their basic principals no longer working ... so I don't know she would join us for dinner.
(10:29:32 PM) Spot: (ooc I need to crash I'm sorry night)
(10:29:37 PM) Cagliostro: (night, spot)
(10:29:46 PM) Spot left the room (quit: Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.86 [SeaMonkey 2.0.8/20100914140239]).
(10:29:47 PM) ***Mistress_Janice half-smiles at Simon. "I'm afraid you've fallen in with... I can't say the wrong crowd. An odd crowd, certainly."
(10:29:48 PM) Delna: "I would like to talk about that first. There is a code we normally follow which requires us to keep such information from mortals...I do not want anyone to get hurt because of a lack of knowledge which is why I am talking to Simon now, but there would be a lot of uprising about such a massive breech of the masquerade."
(10:30:34 PM) Mistress_Janice: GM: Is there a masquerade still? I thought the White Wolf shadows had been pretty well decimated, and these were the last of those folk.
(10:30:40 PM) Delna: "The serenity crew should probably know at least what we are same as we have told Simon...but that could cause more trouble for us currently too."
(10:31:31 PM) Delna: I mean, there may not be anymore, but it is what we operate by and it will be hard put to leave people
(10:31:50 PM) Delna: Not to mention most of us don't fully understand what has happened to our world or where we are now
(10:32:27 PM) dkap: Indeed, habit patterns run deep.
(10:32:56 PM) Delna: So it is still something that would largely cause concern
(10:37:38 PM) Cagliostro: gm: can I access the memories of the mage?
(10:39:17 PM) Cagliostro: while holding the cube, I mean.
(10:43:19 PM) dkap: Sorry, was nattering with Mistress_Janice's player.
(10:43:34 PM) dkap: Count: yes, you can.
(10:44:09 PM) dkap: Up to the point just before the cubing, and going backward to a specific point, where they seem to have sprung into existence, fully formed.
(10:46:57 PM) Cagliostro: gm: what is that specific point?
(10:48:29 PM) ***Mistress_Janice comments to Delna, "Well, there is one thing we might try. I'd like to get in touch with Norton, but it's my understanding he's rather busy at the moment... so we might put the issue off for a bit. We have access to constant sunlight outside the wall - we could simply stack the... uncooperative in some secure shelter, and let Norton decide what to do with them when he is once again free to do so."
(10:49:46 PM) dkap: That specific point is _after_ he arrived here.
(10:50:09 PM) ***Mistress_Janice turns to Simon. "And it doesn't have to be talked over at dinner. If you can persuade Kaylee to leave her engines for a while, I shall endeavour to be a good hostess."
(10:51:22 PM) dkap: Simon sighs and replies: I will try. Fresh strawberries are her weakness ...
(10:51:54 PM) ***Cagliostro hms.
(10:52:02 PM) Delna: to mistress Janice, "That might work. We will look to that if my negotiations fail. I will be collecting some more info over the next few days and hope to hold another meeting to discuss further possible options in a week"
(10:52:29 PM) Cagliostro: gm: I want to edit some of the recent, but unimportant memories, to being me say "You can undo your defense now, all is well."
(10:53:19 PM) dkap: You can do so, and even select things you are fairly certain are unimportant. It should take you about a half-hour uninterrupted to succeed.
(10:55:01 PM) ***Mistress_Janice nods to Delna. "I'm loathe to destroy them, as I understand they were saved deliberately as a favour to Norton - but I also don't fancy them eating whoever they'd like and not cleaning up after themselves." She smiles at Simon. "I'm sure something can be arranged. Thank you."
(10:56:13 PM) Delna: To Mistress Janice, "Those are my thoughts as well. Hopefully we will not have a need for moving them elsewhere."
(10:56:28 PM) dkap: Simon: I think I'll try to nap until food is ready, then.
(10:58:53 PM) dkap: Shall we pick this up, after the memory has been rewritten, and dinner is in the midst of preparation?
(10:58:59 PM) ***Mistress_Janice inclines her head to Simon, and turns to Delna. "Well, it's a big place, we might be able to find somewhere suitable, but... I'd also rather not solve the issue by threats or violence. Such things always wear off."
(10:59:03 PM) dkap: It is that witching hour that I'm falling over myself.
(10:59:09 PM) Mistress_Janice: Sure!
(10:59:44 PM) dkap: And a final, non-game-related thought ...
(10:59:48 PM) Cagliostro: indeed
(11:00:07 PM) dkap: If the "Blade" movie about the "Blood-god" was to come true, what would the vampires feed on then?
(11:00:14 PM) dkap: That never made sense to me.
(11:00:51 PM) Delna: I don't think I saw that one
(11:00:59 PM) Cagliostro: probalby the ritual lied to them. The blood-god feeds on a bunch of vampires, gets tuckered out, and goes back to sleep until the next time they get summoned.
(11:01:43 PM) dkap: Yes, but apparently he also turns everyone into vampires, as well.
(11:02:08 PM) Cagliostro: hm.
(11:02:40 PM) Cagliostro: yeah, that doesn't make a lot of sense ther.e
(11:02:42 PM) dkap: So it seems like an apocalypse scenario, which is why the "elders" who realized that went so far out of their way to hide it from everyone.
(11:03:22 PM) dkap: Including moving the whole damnable temple to some far-off land, that nobody lived in, at the time.
(11:04:18 PM) dkap: Game == Wrapped, good night, folks!
(11:04:30 PM) Delna: night!
(11:04:41 PM) Delna left the room (quit: Read error: EOF from client).
(11:05:09 PM) Mistress_Janice: G'night!
(11:05:27 PM) Mistress_Janice: So, which castle will we be eating at?
(11:06:37 PM) dkap: Probably near the Serenity Shack.
(11:07:00 PM) dkap: Not by either castle, simply because, well, vamps don't necessarily deal well with cooked food smell.
(11:07:15 PM) dkap: Mistress_Janice, did you ask the Count about Vlad?
(11:07:50 PM) Mistress_Janice: Oh, no. Count, has there been a Dracula, or similar, on our world?
(11:08:12 PM) Cagliostro: sort of, and Mistress Janice has met him
(11:08:37 PM) Cagliostro: there's a vampire stockbroker in the logs. He was one of the real people in our world that we ran into at some point. He was the father of the skatepunk, the remote PC with really low warfare
(11:08:43 PM) Cagliostro: like, lower than Jean, maybe.
(11:09:04 PM) Cagliostro: But I think that was the first vampire-with-powers that Cagliostro was familiar with?
(11:09:14 PM) Cagliostro: unless "Hellsing" is in continuity ;)
(11:09:33 PM) Mistress_Janice: I was rather hoping Saberhagen's Dracula novels might be. :)
(11:10:17 PM) dkap: I don't know. You knew of vampires, and the stock-broker was ... while a touch surprising, especially since he's of Amber Descent, but, by then you had met Norton, and, I believe, suspected he was related.
(11:10:44 PM) Cagliostro: Ferenc Nadasdy, listed in the wiki of Raven
(11:11:14 PM) Cagliostro: so: vampires crop up from time to time, but just as a rare magical creature type?
(11:12:59 PM) dkap: Could be? I don't know ... it's your history ... do they?
(11:15:10 PM) Cagliostro: well, I didn't know there were vampires until Ference showed up
(11:15:16 PM) Cagliostro: so, sure
(11:17:31 PM) Mistress_Janice: Okay, works for me.
(11:17:49 PM) Cagliostro: looks like that was some time in 2005/2006
(11:17:50 PM) Mistress_Janice: So, present, but not as pervasive as a WW setting.
(11:18:15 PM) Cagliostro: right. and powers not as predictable.
(11:19:46 PM) ***Mistress_Janice snorts. "Ever try to keep up with the WW publications? New powers every Thursday."
(11:22:01 PM) Mistress_Janice: Okay, that answers my questions.
(11:22:23 PM) Cagliostro: more like world of darkness but including kindred of the east, then ;)
(11:24:24 PM) Cagliostro: gm: it seems that present time is before the big battle against Llewella?
(11:24:35 PM) Cagliostro: but it has to be after it, because we have Ifrit.
(11:24:39 PM) Cagliostro: But there is shadow. hm.
(11:24:47 PM) Cagliostro: I suspect that continuity has gotten tangled. I blame Melk.
(11:25:10 PM) Mistress_Janice: I blame Illyana.
(11:25:15 PM) dkap: Indeed, you have ifrit, but there is no Shadow ... I think for the second time, but I'm not sure.
(11:25:39 PM) dkap: Coral is Melk's apprentice at the moment, as well ...
(11:26:55 PM) Cagliostro: hm. because Cagliostro gated to a pink fleshy place fo ra while. That was presumed to have been after shadow, but it might not be.
(11:27:11 PM) Cagliostro: because Cagliostro got a boost opening the gate. Might have been cross-reality.
(11:29:14 PM) Mistress_Janice: Coral. From the Merlin books?
(11:40:39 PM) dkap: Coral from the Spiral.
(11:45:12 PM) Cagliostro: Cobalt, a quasi amber. Kind of a real thing, kind of a shadow, kind of an alternate amber.
(11:49:04 PM) Mistress_Janice: Yes, I had to be reminded. I designed it. :)
(11:49:26 PM) Cagliostro: heh.
(11:49:57 PM) Cagliostro: there is a family bush graph I put together some years back, so I could figure out the family relationships. don't know if you've seen it.
(11:50:32 PM) Cagliostro: https://www.haven.org/~dskern/amber/CobaltXtreeXcolor.GIF
(11:52:12 PM) Mistress_Janice: No, I hadn't seen it. Heh.
(11:52:17 PM) Cagliostro: shadow should be returning, though
(11:52:26 PM) Cagliostro: neville is already dead at this point
(11:55:11 PM) Cagliostro: I had forgotten that I had once tried to use a Fringe crystal in a laser
(11:55:19 PM) Cagliostro: did not work at all well
(11:56:19 PM) Mistress_Janice: ...Neville? I guess I'll hear about it at some point.
(11:57:31 PM) Cagliostro: Eric II, King of Amber, redrawer of the Pattern
(11:57:55 PM) Cagliostro: he went by the alias Neville of Helgram for a while. ("Neville? We named the broccoli Neville!")
(11:58:14 PM) Cagliostro: at the point he declared himself King, no one cared except Dara, and he and we both hated Dara.
(11:58:49 PM) Cagliostro: So we said "Meh" and supported him. He redrew the Pattern and failed to run fast enough when it tried to eat *
(11:59:05 PM) Cagliostro: Dworkin had, i believe, a better instinct for when to run
(11:59:11 PM) Cagliostro: and when to try and master the Pattern
(11:59:28 PM) Cagliostro: there -really- should be Shadow at this point in continuity
(11:59:34 PM) Cagliostro: maybe it just hasn't reached Darkover?
(10/27/2010 12:00:06 AM) Day changed to 27 Oct 2010
(12:00:08 AM) Mistress_Janice: When it tried to eat... everything?
(12:00:31 AM) Cagliostro: yes
(12:00:47 AM) Cagliostro: that's apparently how Shadow started the first time
(12:00:55 AM) Cagliostro: it ate the sea of chance for a while
(12:02:26 AM) Cagliostro: and are we before or after Caelin turned off magic everywhere for a while?
(12:02:32 AM) Cagliostro: another good question.
(12:06:55 AM) Mistress_Janice: I think we've lost DKap.
(12:07:11 AM) Cagliostro: indeed. he'll check the logs at some point.
(12:07:21 AM) Cagliostro: I suspect that temporal meddling is the only explanation here. ;)
(12:07:34 AM) Mistress_Janice: By the GM! Who lies!
(12:07:39 AM) dkap: Sorry.
(12:07:41 AM) dkap: What?
(12:07:48 AM) Mistress_Janice: You are not, stop pretending.
(12:08:35 AM) dkap: After.
(12:08:51 AM) dkap: I am sorry, I was helping someone with a programming problem.
(12:08:59 AM) dkap: And there _is_ no time-travel in my campaign.
(12:10:46 AM) Cagliostro: Mistress Janice has already called the GM a liar
(12:10:52 AM) Cagliostro: so i think that proves there is time travel
(12:12:22 AM) dkap: Indeed.
(12:12:37 AM) dkap: And I just got a finger pointed at me with the declaimation.
(12:15:51 AM) Cagliostro: j'accuse
(12:15:53 AM) Cagliostro: and all that
(12:15:58 AM) Cagliostro: okay, good night, see you next week
(12:16:03 AM) Mistress_Janice: Take care!
(12:16:09 AM) Mistress_Janice left the room (quit: Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.86 [Firefox 3.6.11/20101012113537]).
(12:16:14 AM) Cagliostro left the room (quit: Quit: Leaving.).
