[6:05 PM] Amelia: Amelia works with Jenny to plan Cheyenne area cleanup and minimize casualties.
[6:14 PM] GM: When last we left our intrepid heroes ...
[6:25 PM] GM: Anyone have any other updates before we lean in?
[6:44 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Nope.
[6:45 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Good to go.
[6:48 PM] GM: Ok ... so ... when last we left our intrepid heroes ... you were in the room, deciding on next steps, I believe?
[6:49 PM] GM: Phone rings.
[6:51 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who is sitting at the desk by the phone?
[6:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Answers phone.
[6:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: On speaker.
[6:54 PM] GM: It is a voice that is not (yet) familiar to anyone. They identify themselves as a member of the support team, and say that Martin Stewart just had someone bump into him, and then he texted the two word "Mt. Sinai" to a phone that is cell-located in NYC.
[6:55 PM] GM: And then says: "We are trying to narrow the exact cell down. And the phone has now gone off-line. Probably a burner, and now tossed."
[6:56 PM] GM: He continues: "Thought you folks would want to know."
[6:57 PM] Amelia: Does not look up from her work. That is a very bad news.
[6:58 PM] Amelia: We've been too noisy, I think. Is there any way we can move this group somewhere else now?
[6:59 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Doc, how close are we to being ready to get out of here ?
[7:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: To the Phone: Thank You. Any other details to pass along?
[7:00 PM] GM: None as to yet. James hasn't landed yet.
[7:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Doc?
[7:04 PM] Amelia: Who do we have guarding the door again?
[7:04 PM] GM: Bravo team, from Drae's folk.
[7:05 PM] Amelia: And... this hospital is of special interest to your government friends too, right? I wouldn't know how much care they take of the site.
[7:06 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I am getting this feeling our time here should be coming to an end soon. Like REAL SOON!
[7:07 PM] GM: The government, besides sending Dr. Blix was pretty low-key about this. Although I believe Albert's team is heading there with the remaining samples from the Museum, currently so they might be able to be useful as well.
[7:08 PM] Athena: Sorry, who's Albert again?
[7:09 PM] GM: If I recall correctly, Jenny has a channel open with the Bravo team, as well. And is friendly with one of them (Millie, Bravo Lead) because that was who negotiated and effected her move.
[7:09 PM] GM: Mr. Albert was the clean-up team at the plane site, and then went to clean up and bring in the rest of the samples for Dr. Blix to examine.
[7:11 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hey Drae, we need to think about getting out of here, or how we are going to defend, from whatever Martin has coming this way.
[7:12 PM] Amelia: Frowns. We brought everyone here with the idea that we could defend it. Now, we need to ask how we'd actually do that.
[7:13 PM] GM: So ... are you going to communicate with the Bravo team?
[7:15 PM] Amelia: Jenny, we just received warning that enemies might be coming here. Please warn our friends in your room to be on guard.
[7:17 PM] GM: Jenny: Of course.
[7:24 PM] GM: Six minutes pass, and then Jenny says "The Bravo team wants you to know that there is a bit of a siege going on out here.
[7:24 PM] Amelia: Jenny, can you see what's actually happening out there? I think we should pause and help them if we can.
[7:25 PM] GM: Jenny: Of course. I'm already using all of their cameras, what do you want to see?
[7:25 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I rummage further in the pile of things we brought in from the outside.
[7:26 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Collecting weapons, for distribution to our group who are able to use them.
[7:26 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Safe and effectively.
[7:26 PM] Amelia: How many? How are they armed and armored? What insignia are they wearing?
[7:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And start shifting things about the room, to give incoming forces difficulty, and us any advantage possible.
[7:27 PM] GM: Jenny: It looks to be 6 ... now 5 of them. They are shooting pistols, I believe they are the Beretta M9, but I'm not entirely sure.
[7:27 PM] Amelia: Do you have control of doors and locks? If yes, then you could open doors for friends and lock them for enemies.
[7:28 PM] GM: Jenny: And I don't see any repeating pattern on any of their clothing.
[7:28 PM] GM: Jenny: Oh, sorry now 4 of them.
[7:28 PM] Amelia: Do you recognize any of them from elsewhere?
[7:28 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Jenny, are they wearing armor?
[7:28 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Are their faces covered?
[7:29 PM] GM: Jenny: Most of they doors are already locked against those that don't have key-cards. But I can add extra protocols.
[7:29 PM] Amelia: Good, please do.
[7:30 PM] GM: Jenny: One of the 4 just left the siege. I'm following them using outside cameras. Was that right?
[7:30 PM] Drae Blitzen: Who in Bravo is not busy enough to give me an idea of what exfil options we have at our disposal?
[7:30 PM] Amelia: Yes. We should know where they go and to whom.
[7:31 PM] GM: All of Bravo is currently engaged.
[7:31 PM] GM: Jenny: He just got in an Al Jazeera news van.
[7:32 PM] Amelia: Follow it too.
[7:32 PM] Drae Blitzen: There's that news van again...
[7:32 PM] Amelia: Gentlemen, one of the attackers left in a... news van?
[7:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: We need to move, Drae... what about Delta Team?
[7:34 PM] GM: Jenny: The 3 remaining are in a cross-fire situation. It reminds me of when General Sherman set up a palisade during the early section of the Civil War engagement.
[7:35 PM] Drae Blitzen: Right now, we have a team out there holding our position with little effort. Lets keep an eye on that van and figure out where we want to go.
[7:35 PM] Amelia: Smiles. Thank you, Jenny.
[7:36 PM] Amelia: Jenny, the van should have a license plate. Please tell me you got that info too.
[7:36 PM] GM: Jenny: It is interesting, my new friends are much better at this than those that are moving against them. I expect ... yes. that's the last of them down.
[7:36 PM] GM: Jenny: The license plate is (and she gives an appropriate plate number). But the van is too old, I can't just get into it's GPS receiver and see where they are going.
[7:37 PM] Amelia: Jenny's right. That attempt was a bit weak. Are we looking at another distraction?
[7:38 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae ... your right ... and I see 2 options ... something here in the city... and something off the grid I may have a thought on the second.
[7:38 PM] Drae Blitzen: I'm hoping it's more of a skill issue. But we aren't gonna sit around for much longer and wait. Ask Jenny to do her best to follow the van. And see if she has a friend in the DMV.
[7:39 PM] GM: Jenny: There is no one in the DMV, why, do you want to know that the van is registered legitimately to the news company?
[7:39 PM] Amelia: Chuckles. You think even the computers at the DMV are overworked?
[7:40 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Jenny did any of the intruders survive?
[7:40 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Besides the one in the news van?
[7:40 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Speaking of which, you might be able to follow it in the traffic cameras.
[7:41 PM] GM: Jenny: None of those who were part of the siege survived. Even though two were given immediate medical assistance. Apparently our new friends are good at what they do.
[7:41 PM] GM: Jenny: Yes, the same way I follow Amelia on her way to and from work.
[7:41 PM] Drae Blitzen: Smiles and checks sidearm. They try.
[7:42 PM] Amelia: Jenny, please follow that van if possible. The van itself is not the only possible camera, and you know how to identify it on sight.
[7:42 PM] Amelia: Sighs.
[7:44 PM] GM: Dr. Blix, upon hearing that for the moment we are clear, starts going over you folks with the Geiger counter again.
[7:45 PM] GM: Dr. Blix: I don't know how you folks are doing what you are doing, but ... you are all shedding your radioactivity faster than I am, and ... I have (he waves a hand at the IV).
[7:46 PM] GM: If any of you want jobs with the folks I used to work with. I'm more than happy to put in a good word.
[7:46 PM] GM: Phone rings.
[7:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Answers phone on speaker.
[7:48 PM] Amelia: Dr. Blix, if we have some extra resistance to the radiation. Can we use that to help Beth?
[7:48 PM] GM: Bravo Lead (Millie): All cleaned up. No casualties or wounded on our side. Three civilians wounded. The two hostages were unscathed. No friendly fire incidents. Any further instructions?
[7:51 PM] Drae Blitzen: Makes sure there is care for the civilians. Check the bodies for anything we can use to identify them.
[7:51 PM] GM: Jenny: The van has pulled into a warehouse building.
[7:51 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae: Exfil??
[7:52 PM] Amelia: Careful with the warehouse. The people there might notice if you try to look inside.
[7:53 PM] GM: Millie: We are in a hospital, the care-folks took them before we could. And there was no IDs on any of the bodies. Clothing has normal American labels, while they smell a bit like they haven't bathed recently, there is no particular ethnic food smell on them, beyond, I think they had pizza for their last meal.
[7:53 PM] GM: Jenny: No cameras on the inside. I'm looking at the outside of the building.
[7:54 PM] Drae Blitzen: Sigh Well, at least they helped pay some New Yorker's rent.
[7:56 PM] Amelia: Jenny, please keep watching them for more activity. Meanwhile, we still have work to do here...
[7:56 PM] GM: Millie: Going back to ready positions?
[7:58 PM] GM: Dr. Blix: Being that the health of your folk is such that they can most probably be exempt from the quarantine, it would be selfish of me to keep both you and them here, when you could be out and doing. I can stay here as bait, if you folks need to go.
[7:58 PM] Drae Blitzen: Affirmative. Wait for orders.
[7:59 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Thanks Doc. Drae ... I suspect we should be moving elsewhere?
[8:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Betting that was a test of our defense.
[8:02 PM] Amelia: If so, then they traded that info by giving us more hints as to where they are.
[8:04 PM] Drae Blitzen: I feel like our friend in the van would be helpful, at this point. Calls Bravo.
[8:04 PM] GM: Jenny is your conduit to Bravo, if they aren't already on the phone. Just FYI.
[8:05 PM] Athena: Beta or Bravo?
[8:05 PM] GM: I lost track, whichever it is.
[8:06 PM] Drae Blitzen: Bravo, apologies.
[8:07 PM] GM: Phone rings.
[8:07 PM] Drae Blitzen: Bravo, you got a rabbit that ran. Jenny knows where. I need a vehicle to go hunting.
[8:10 PM] GM: Jenny: Millie said that the cars they have are here, and available.
[8:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Picks up phone, on speaker.
[8:11 PM] GM: A semi-familiar voice on the phone says "Hello, I was told this is how to reach some ... friends?"
[8:12 PM] Athena: Same voice as last call?
[8:12 PM] Chumley Metrodora: James?
[8:13 PM] GM: James: Chumley?
[8:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yup ...
[8:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Seems we meet again.
[8:13 PM] GM: Yes, although this ... is a bit bigger. It's a pity you don't have your good luck charm with you this time.
[8:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Kiara is here.
[8:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: She is sleeping ... in the cot.
[8:14 PM] GM: James: Ah? Even better.
[8:15 PM] GM: James: There is another political thing that might need some smoothing, and ... it might be larger than just political.
[8:15 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yeah, um, we might be on the not so political part of this one.
[8:15 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Grumbles slightly. Unless you have coffee or a shoulder rub you better have a damned good reason for calling my name out.
[8:16 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And do us both a favor, leave the local lackeys who are not up to speed out of this one.
[8:16 PM] GM: James: Might you two be available again? And I was told that ... you might have a connection to the mostly competent person here who was supposed to be shadowing me?
[8:17 PM] Chumley Metrodora: They followed us after the last time, and almost found the wrong end of my ...
[8:18 PM] GM: James: Oh, that one? For some unknown reason, he ended up in the field office, in the Alaskan Crab Fisheries. Which means he had to go out on the boats every two years to "inspect".
[8:18 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hand signal to Drae ... any idea what he is talking about
[8:19 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That's a good place for him, maybe he stays there till retirement.
[8:19 PM] GM: James: Not much chance of promotion from that position.
[8:19 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yea ... your name came up for this thing we are looking at.
[8:20 PM] GM: James: But that being neither here nor there, there is two people that seem to connect back to ... whomever you are keeping company with at the moment.
[8:22 PM] GM: James: And all four of us are on a plane out-country. I saw Martin duck onto an unscheduled plane, so I followed.
[8:23 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Any idea where you are headed?
[8:23 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Does Martin know you are on the plane?
[8:23 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And where are our folks?
[8:23 PM] GM: James: I didn't bother to check, and the luggage compartment doesn't have any luggage in it, so ... the plane might not be flying to it's intended destination.
[8:24 PM] GM: James: In the compartment with me. I was slightly rushed, so, I just grabbed them and ran, and figured I'd sort it on the fly, as it were.
[8:28 PM] Drae Blitzen: At this moment, it sounds like this part is a waiting game. until we know where they are going, we can't follow or mobilize assistance when they land. For now, we should deal with our local lead, before going abroad.
[8:28 PM] Amelia: Mutters: Unscheduled doesn't mean we can't find out where they claimed to be going.
[8:30 PM] GM: James: If I knew the call letters, I'd tell you. Sorry about that. I'll update you when we land. I have my sat-phone on me. He then rattles off the number and the encryption key.
[8:31 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Jots down SAT info on note pad.
[8:31 PM] Amelia: Your friends had many eyes on that airport. If any plane took off, they should at least know its call letters.
[8:31 PM] Drae Blitzen: Mr. Earlson, are my people nearby to speak to?
[8:32 PM] GM: James: Of course.
[8:32 PM] GM: Sound of a phone being handed off.
[8:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Jenny ... can you work with Bravo Team ... and get us some new Comm Gear, Sat Phone, Cell Phones, etc, for when we get out of here?
[8:33 PM] GM: Voice on phone: Sorry sir. I didn't expect him to catch on so fast.
[8:33 PM] GM: Jenny: Happy to.
[8:34 PM] Amelia: Um....
[8:34 PM] Amelia: Jenny, don't steal anything.
[8:35 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Bravo Team will know what we need, and will get in touch with Kringle to actually get it.
[8:35 PM] GM: Jenny: What is "steal"? I just invoice it to the Museum?
[8:35 PM] Drae Blitzen: It happens. No "turtle bonus" for you. However, listen to what the nice man says. Do what needs to be done to survive out there, okay?
[8:35 PM] Amelia: "Yes, that would be okay... just this once."
[8:36 PM] GM: Voice on phone: He's really good and fast. If he proves trustworthy I'd nominate him for one of the teams.
[8:37 PM] Drae Blitzen: We do need a new Foxtrot lead...
[8:37 PM] GM: Jenny: Isn't that how we are supposed to get things? I do it all the time?
[8:37 PM] Drae Blitzen: Stay safe and smart out there.
[8:37 PM] GM: Voice on phone: Wilco.
[8:38 PM] GM: Meanwhile, far ago, and long away ... Cedrick.
[8:39 PM] GM: And I'll await his return.
[8:39 PM] Amelia: Sighs. I do it all the time, but if you do it, and I don't know about it, then I get in trouble for spending too much. We'll talk more about this later.
[8:41 PM] GM: Phone hangs up.
[8:43 PM] Drae Blitzen: Time to hunt wabbits. Who's with?
[8:43 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yes.
[8:44 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Can I assume you have a toy box in the car? Pistols are nice ... but, not very good for a real hunt.
[8:44 PM] Amelia: Chumley, Drae... can we get our next location ready in case we do need to move fast later?
[8:45 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Yawns. I'm in obviously.
[8:45 PM] Drae Blitzen: I'm sure we can accommodate.
[8:45 PM] Drae Blitzen: Next location is already planned.
[8:46 PM] Amelia: In that case, then we should also send Jenny ahead. She doesn't move fast.
[8:46 PM] Drae Blitzen: It's okay, Bravo knows where to take her.
[8:48 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Given how high value of a target Jenny is, do we want to keep her separate from us?
[8:48 PM] GM: So ... everyone begins the exfiltration process.
[8:48 PM] GM: Dr. Blix promises to try and do his best for Beth.
[8:49 PM] Athena: I think we're splitting up. Amelia can go with Jenny, since they're on a project together, but everyone else so far seems happy to stay in quarantine.
[8:50 PM] GM: In the room right outside the quarantine, Millie is there with bdus, t-shirts, boots and ballistic armor for everyone.
[8:50 PM] Athena: Correction, everyone else is going to "have a chat" with our elusive local friend.
[8:51 PM] GM: There is a variety of weapons and comms choices.
[8:52 PM] GM: Jenny apparently has a really good eye for sizes.
[8:53 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Suit up, ear piece in.
[8:53 PM] GM: Athena, yours is like everyone elses, she didn't get you anything different.
[8:53 PM] Drae Blitzen: G2G
[8:54 PM] Chumley Metrodora: G2G
[8:54 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: g2g
[8:55 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae, you want to drive, or should I?
[8:55 PM] GM: Bravo team drops the three of you in Delta's lap, who already have the vehicles ready and running.
[8:56 PM] GM: Millie takes Jenny and Amelia to the gym.
[8:56 PM] Drae Blitzen: You can drive.
[8:56 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hops in an open seat.
[8:57 PM] GM: Delta is driving, since they already mapped everything.
[8:57 PM] GM: And as soon as you get in, and are setting/siting your weapons, checking your comms et al, you are already on your way.
[8:58 PM] GM: The vehicles are well armored, but not obviously armed.
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: On the ride over, I put James' info into the SAT phone.
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: for later reference.
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And hand off the note with the details to Drae.
[8:58 PM] GM: Indeed. So can Kiara, and Drae, since it was rattled off in both of your hearing.
[8:59 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Puts info into her personal SAT phone.
[8:59 PM] GM: Kiara, you notice it is the same type of encoding that your friend Ryan uses.
[9:00 PM] GM: Drae, you would notice that as well.
[9:00 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Is Ryan a common connection between Drae and Kiara?
[9:01 PM] GM: Not that the two of you have shared yet, but, yes, from an out-of game perspective.
[9:02 PM] Drae Blitzen: Puts info into phone.
[9:03 PM] GM: While en-route, Drae is handed his standard load-out, but one of Delta asks both Chumley and Kiara if they have a preference for anything in particular?
[9:04 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Something beefy would be nice ... but your standard will be great,
[9:05 PM] Chumley Metrodora: There is not much either of us cannot handle.
[9:06 PM] GM: We tend to the M4A1, and the Beretta M9.
[9:07 PM] GM: One of them looks at Chumley, and pulls out the MK19 44mm grenade launcher and says "This looks to be about your size."
[9:08 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I will take the M4A1 ... and a few mags ... already have my Glocks ... Could use a few flash-bangs.
[9:08 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Something beefy paired with something subtle.
[9:08 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Now we are talking.
[9:08 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And the MK19.
[9:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Not really a warehouse weapon.
[9:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: How about an M203?
[9:09 PM] GM: Delta: Flash bangs? We have some Willy Pete, would that work?
[9:10 PM] GM: Kiara you are handed a M4A1 and a pair of Beretta M9s.
[9:11 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Phosphorous ... yeah, 1, in case we need to make it go away.
[9:11 PM] Chumley Metrodora: G2G.
[9:12 PM] GM: The M203 is handed to you.
[9:12 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Laughs. This is Chumley branded subtle but i can work with this.
[9:13 PM] GM: One of the Delta's digs into the ribs of another, and there is a blow-gun, with a rack of darts offered to Kiara.
[9:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That is more your style.
[9:14 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Yes I will take those as well.
[9:15 PM] GM: The delta is blushing, slightly.
[9:15 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Slaps the delta on the shoulder: Would you like to find out good I am with these?
[9:15 PM] GM: Delta to team: See! SOME people appreciate subtle!
[9:16 PM] GM: Delta to Kiara: Not at the moment Ma'am, perhaps, on the range later?
[9:17 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Sits back. Always happy to play on the range if I am not out of breath
[9:18 PM] Drae Blitzen: Smirks at him: I can always see if Specter needs another player, if you need a break from these boys
[9:18 PM] GM: Amelia and Jenny are arrived with no bumps or delays.
[9:20 PM] GM: When they are in and set up, Jenny types at Amelia: There are now people on the roof of the warehouse.
[9:21 PM] Athena: Amelia relays info from Jenny through the comms.
[9:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: To Delta Team: What do you have with a scope on it?
[9:23 PM] GM: Jenny to Amelia: They seem to have a 60mm mortar, but ... it looks old and a touch rusted. Don't these people know how to take care of their things?
[9:23 PM] Amelia: No, they don't. They care about other things.
[9:24 PM] Amelia: Tells the team about the mortar.
[9:25 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do we have a layout of the block the warehouse is on?
[9:25 PM] Amelia: Of course.
[9:25 PM] GM: One of Delta brings up the schematic on a tablet and hands it over.
[9:26 PM] Amelia: Jenny, please relay the block layout and some camera feed to one of the delta team members.
[9:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Are there buildings in the less than 2k Meter range suitable for a roof sniper?
[9:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Is there a rifle suitable for such a shot in one of the vehicles?
[9:28 PM] Drae Blitzen: Jenny? how many are on the roof?
[9:28 PM] GM: Just the one with the mortar.
[9:28 PM] Drae Blitzen: Sets up rifle.
[9:28 PM] Drae Blitzen: Thank you.
[9:28 PM] GM: From the images given. She seems to be able to 3d interpolate and weave the pictures together in real-time.
[9:29 PM] Drae Blitzen: Leans out of vehicle and lines up shot.
[9:30 PM] Drae Blitzen: Keep it steady, Delta. Gets into a proper position for the shot on the roof of the vehicle, while moving.
[9:32 PM] Drae Blitzen: Exhales...eliminates variable... attempts to not leave casing... gets back in car
[9:33 PM] GM: Shot goes off. By the time Drae is getting back in the car, the 3d image has picked up his bullet, and ... it goes right through both the shooter and the mortar.
[9:34 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That was one hell of a shot.
[9:34 PM] Amelia: Jenny, can we keep a clip of that?
[9:35 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Well done, Drae that was extraordinary.
[9:36 PM] GM: Jenny: Saved. Did you want me to expand it out, so the image has the origin as well?
[9:36 PM] Drae Blitzen: Nods slightly, looking at casing solemnly" Everybody needs a marketable skill. Face brightens up a bit. Thanks.
[9:36 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Its a shame there aren't more opportunities to excel.
[9:37 PM] Amelia: Hmm... keep both. We won't always want to show the origin.
[9:37 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do we see more people on the roof in the life feed?
[9:37 PM] GM: Jenny: OK, I'll just print out the diorama of the shot then.
[9:38 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Jenny make a flip-book too.
[9:38 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do we see an new activity at the warehouse?
[9:39 PM] GM: Not yet, They probably haven't noticed he has gone down yet, but will probably notice when the mortar doesn't fire soon.
[9:39 PM] GM: Jenny: Also, that is not the person who left the hospital.
[9:40 PM] Amelia: You probably guessed this already, but there's more than one person in there.
[9:40 PM] GM: Delta Lead: Two minutes out, stay liquid.
[9:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae, Do we want to put a sniper out here ... so stop rabbits?
[9:41 PM] GM: Jenny: Yes, there had to be at least one other person, driving the van, that he was picked up in. But there is an unknown number more.
[9:42 PM] GM: One of the Delta team: Hey! That's my line!
[9:42 PM] GM: Another of the Delta team: Dibs!
[9:42 PM] GM: Grumbles heard across the team.
[9:44 PM] GM: Driver slows down to about 30, person who called dibs rolls out of the car.
[9:44 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Boys, stop arguing ...
[9:44 PM] Drae Blitzen: Chuckles: Dibs was called. You can snipe the rabbit if he bolts. Goal is to scare with a warning shot so we can get him mostly unharmed. Secondary is the clip his wings. Death is a last resort. We need this rabbit to turn pigeon.
[9:44 PM] GM: Driver picks speed back up.
[9:44 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: There is plenty to shoot at, I'm sure.
[9:45 PM] GM: Delta sniper over headset: Roger that. Warning, clip, then angels.
[9:45 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Kiara, he was talking to you too, dear. We want to talk to these folks.
[9:46 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Rolls eyes. There are plenty of places to shoot so we can still talk to them.
[9:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yes there is ...
[9:47 PM] GM: Car is now pulling up in the most covered point outside the warehouse, near a soft spot (in this case a fairly large window.)
[9:47 PM] GM: No shots fired.
[9:48 PM] GM: Drae, order of entry?
[9:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Its your party ...
[9:50 PM] Drae Blitzen: Delta... go loud. Chumley, Kiara... find our rabbit in the chaos. Hopefully everyone will be looking at us instead of you. Goal is to take them and if that's not possible move them to the sniper. I'll cover you and pivot if necessary.
[9:51 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Roger that.
[9:51 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: G2G.
[9:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: We hang back 20-30 seconds as Delta goes in.
[9:52 PM] GM: Delta blows the window, and infiltrates through there. Line in, starting to sweep and clear the building. There is another door, further down the wall, or you could move to another side of the building.
[9:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I go down to the Door.
[9:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And open it. With care.
[9:54 PM] GM: Door takes a little persuading to open, but open it does, and ... quietly enough that no one seems to be paying attention to you.
[9:54 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Move inside, and in the opposite direction as Delta.
[9:55 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Moving quietly, but with purpose. M4 in hand and ready for use,
[9:55 PM] Drae Blitzen: Amelia, Jenny? If you can see heat signatures, let me know. if anyone tries to leave the building, let me know.
[9:55 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Decides to take a different route and starts working her way up the warehouse outer wall, quietly.
[9:56 PM] Amelia: Jenny, with the window busted open, can you see people inside now?
[9:56 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Decides to take the more private roof entrance ... and will stop to briefly search the body.
[9:56 PM] GM: Kiara you achieve the roof fairly quickly.
[9:56 PM] Chumley Metrodora: sweeping around to other walls, looking for doors.
[9:56 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And other inhabitants.
[9:57 PM] GM: Jenny: I can see inside, but the slice I see still doesn't have anyone but our friends.
[9:57 PM] GM: Chumley, there is a metal stairway up on your left, doors on this level under the stairway. One looks like a break room, and one looks like an office to your subconscious evaluator.
[9:57 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: locates the body, sweeps for any weapons or phones or anything useful and heads to the entrance that the guy used.
[9:58 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Mutters under her breath: That was one hell of a shot Drae made - life goals.
[9:58 PM] Drae Blitzen: Jenny, can you see any cell phone signals that don't seem to belong to any of us?
[9:58 PM] GM: Jenny: There are none.
[9:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Are you going up the stairs, or am I?
[9:58 PM] GM: Kiara, there is a phone. it is off. There is an AK-15, with ammo. There is a stack of 5 mortar shells.
[9:59 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Passes the info on to the delta team in case they want to come grab it.
[10:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae, I am going up the stairs.
[10:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Moves up the stairs, and looks into the break room.
[10:00 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Opens the roof hatch and on alert for any movement that might indicate people.
[10:01 PM] GM: Chumley, in the break-room, are 6 people sleeping in 3 of the 5 bunk-beds.
[10:01 PM] GM: Kiara, nothing in the stairwell.
[10:01 PM] Athena: Sleeping... in this noise?
[10:03 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Any movement, sounds, etc to indicate occupancy?
[10:03 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Any weapons in view in the break-room?
[10:03 PM] GM: Drae, there are lots of boxes, and such, that open to a makeshift video studio, that has blood spatter already in it.
[10:04 PM] GM: Kiara, no movement currently, although you smell some really rancid cigarette smoke.
[10:04 PM] GM: Drae, the blood spatter, when inspected, is actually set dressing (corn syrup).
[10:05 PM] GM: But the manacles on the chair that is at the center of the wood-be blood spatter are very real.
[10:06 PM] GM: Chumley yes, weapons. on a table, in the center of the room. You believe you are fast enough to get between them and the weapons, but they might have short-arms on them.
[10:06 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Back out of the break room, quietly. Securing the door.
[10:07 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Once out in the hall ... signal Drae about the occupants.
[10:07 PM] Drae Blitzen: I start looking to see where the camera would have been placed. Is there any sign of the camera/recording device or wherever the person edited what they shot?
[10:07 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Do I see Chumley or Drae at this point?
[10:07 PM] GM: Kiara, someone is stumping up the stairs, with apparently not a care in the world.
[10:07 PM] GM: Kiara, no you are at least a floor or two above them.
[10:08 PM] GM: Drae, sorry, the camera, editing equipment, power, everything is all there.
[10:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Over Comms: Hey I have 6 guys in the break room up here.
[10:09 PM] GM: All you are missing is some hooded terrorists, and a hostage, to make this particular bit of news-casting.
[10:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Quietly.
[10:09 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: I quickly step out of their line of sight and simply observe them to see if I can think I can take them down silently.
[10:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Weapons on the table ... possibly more in the beds with them.
[10:09 PM] Drae Blitzen: Then i start looking for what was the last thing filmed... Yeah a Fake piece of ISIS propaganda.
[10:10 PM] GM: Kiara, you have the blowgun, you most definitely can.
[10:10 PM] Drae Blitzen: Delta, give me two to Chumley's position... QUIETLY
[10:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Call it 6 guys in 3 of the 5 bunks, so we may have more here.
[10:11 PM] Athena: 4 went down at Mt Sinai?
[10:11 PM] GM: Drae: The only tape that is recorded looks like a rehearsal, because no one is in the chair, and people are being yelled at for missing their lines.
[10:13 PM] GM: Amelia, 6 total at Mt. Sinai, one escaped. So 5 dead from there.
[10:13 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Pulls the blowgun out and aims for the idiot stomping up the stairs.
[10:14 PM] GM: Kiara, you have him in your sites. He is not the rabbit.
[10:14 PM] GM: Chumley, you are reinforced, so there are now 3 on 6.
[10:15 PM] Drae Blitzen: Looks around desk and on the computer for script. Also looks for the rabbit in the footage.
[10:15 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hold here for 2 min, while I check the office next store.
[10:15 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Checks in office.
[10:15 PM] GM: Drae, the rabbit, is the one yelling at people for not following their lines, and the script is right there in plain sight in the center desk drawer.
[10:16 PM] Drae Blitzen: Reads it.
[10:16 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Pops the darts off and then pulls one of the smaller guns just in case.
[10:16 PM] GM: Chumley, the office is empty, except for a sat-phone in the middle of the desk, charging.
[10:16 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Makes sure the sat phone is powered down, and pocket it.
[10:16 PM] GM: Kiara, where on the body were you targeting?
[10:17 PM] GM: Chumley, it is, and you can.
[10:17 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Return to the 2 delta at the break room.
[10:17 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Over comms: Got a SAT Phone
[10:18 PM] GM: Drae, it is the expected standard terrorist drivel. Give us what we want, or we start executing hostages.
[10:19 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Quietly open break room door, and move to the table with the weapons.
[10:19 PM] GM: It is written in Albanian, with the English words spelled out phonetically.
[10:19 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Chest/back area.
[10:20 PM] Drae Blitzen: Trying to extrapolate between the evidence if they have actual hostages, or just people willing to play pretend with colored syrup... Pretty sure they don't But that is a real chair...
[10:21 PM] Drae Blitzen: ...
[10:21 PM] Drae Blitzen: Albanian?
[10:21 PM] GM: Kiara, it penetrates nicely, you hear the rattle of a sucking chest wound, and you seem, by the volume of blood, to have at least nicked one of the major heart arteries or veins.
[10:21 PM] GM: Drae, yes, Albanian.
[10:21 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Secure the weapons, from the table.
[10:22 PM] GM: And there is no specific lines for the hostage.
[10:22 PM] GM: Chumley weapons secured, they are still not stirring.
[10:22 PM] Drae Blitzen: Delta. This has changed to a full capture op. I want them all alive.
[10:22 PM] Drae Blitzen: Jenny, get me Millie.
[10:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Look at the sleepers. Are they breathing? Is the Rabbit here?
[10:23 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do I see any other weapons?
[10:23 PM] Amelia: You don't want to just call him?
[10:23 PM] GM: Chumley, yes, and yes.
[10:23 PM] GM: Chumley, and no.
[10:24 PM] Amelia: Fetches Millie and gets him on comms.
[10:24 PM] Drae Blitzen: You're right. Got used to Jenny being the best path to her new Friend.
[10:26 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I signal the Delta ... to get the others ... we need to take ALL of them.
[10:26 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Ties the downed man up and informs Drae where he is.
[10:26 PM] GM: One of the Delta nods, and using clicks on the radio asks for all backup.
[10:26 PM] GM: And silent.
[10:26 PM] Drae Blitzen: Switch to contacting Millie. This has changed. I want the interrogation team ready for multiple subjects. Send Charlie here with black bags and vans.
[10:27 PM] GM: Kiara, he's probably not long for the world, without some intense medical aid.
[10:27 PM] GM: Millie: Roger, will send.
[10:28 PM] GM: Chumley, Delta team, all on your position.
[10:28 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Signal to all present, 1 per ... Secure your man ... on ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... Now.
[10:28 PM] Drae Blitzen: Thanks, Kiara, I'll send someone for him.
[10:29 PM] GM: They move with you, like a well oiled machine. All captured nice and neat.
[10:29 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Gags and zip ties.
[10:29 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Keeps moving down the hall.
[10:29 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Release all but 1 Delta back to sweeping building.
[10:29 PM] GM: Chumley, easy to do now.
[10:29 PM] GM: Deltas go back to sweep.
[10:30 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I have the rabbit, and 5 friends ... waiting in break room, bundled waiting transit.
[10:30 PM] GM: Kiara, you arrive at the rest of the team leaving the break-room.
[10:30 PM] GM: Delta doesn't find anyone else alive in the building.
[10:31 PM] GM: The Delta who offered the blowgun, is the one sent to Kiara, who then says "No, Ma'am, I don't need to see you on the range, you might as well keep that, I'm ... never going to be that (gesturing toward the body) good."
[10:32 PM] GM: And ... this might be a good place to hang it.
[10:32 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: It just takes a lot of practice with your mouth - I can show you some exercises to help you improve.
