[6:11 PM] GM: So, when we last left our intrepid heroes. We had three different interrogations set up, one of the lower-level folks, captured in New York, one of the Father and Uncle figures, and one of the four folks captured who were loading the plane that had stolen your transponder, and tail numbers, to get through the new US tighter net.
[6:16 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Has Kiara just been taking a really long nap during all of this?
[6:18 PM] GM: She was present, not yet taking part.
[6:18 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: I meant during the interrogations...
[6:19 PM] GM: There was the whole second silkwood shower, and I presume some joke about you and Chumley keep having to shower together ...
[6:20 PM] GM: But, so far we only tracked the beginning of the interrogation of Father and Uncle, you might have been setting up for, or doing the interrogation of those that were loading the plane?
[6:20 PM] GM: Or simply sunning yourself on one of the balconies.
[6:22 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Probably taking a lava silkwood shower and then sunning myself on a balcony.
[6:25 PM] GM: The place is beautiful.
[6:30 PM] Drae Blitzen: So, are we pushing any angles here?
[6:32 PM] GM: None of your prisoners seem to be angles?
[6:32 PM] GM: Or ... did my dyslexia bite me again?
[6:34 PM] Drae Blitzen: "Horrorshow, I need this guy to spill a bit so we can leverage something for Millie. Press on him a little more."
[6:37 PM] GM: Father lets his concern for his people be very evident, and worries about what his eldest might be doing in his absence.
[6:41 PM] Drae Blitzen: See if he will give up more on Uncle or his contacts "For the good of his flock."
[6:43 PM] GM: The closest he gets is Father's worry that the degenerate, and impious folk that come to the village to visit Uncle might corrupt his people.
[6:44 PM] GM: He doesn't see to know any of them, especially since he went out of his way to keep their taint away from his people.
[6:48 PM] Drae Blitzen: "Okay, Horo.. light pressure to make him think we're trying to get more, and bring it to a close."
[6:48 PM] GM: Horo: Right. Will do.
[6:49 PM] GM: The last thing that father let's slip is that he is worried that his younger brother (and now you know how Uncle is actually related) might have influenced his Eldest Son more than he should have.
[6:50 PM] Drae Blitzen: "Millie, see where we can twins to get a contact or two out of Uncle. A region or location of their base of operations, if not a name."
[6:52 PM] GM: Any particular style of interrogation suggested to do so?
[6:57 PM] Drae Blitzen: The reminder that his power in this town is based off his ability to protect the people under his command. And that his big brother's leniency of his operations and willingness to protect him may falter if the daughters and wives of this area are given some unclean thoughts, and the resources to aggressively protect those thoughts against any many in the villages who would challenge them.
[6:59 PM] GM: Sounds good.
[7:00 PM] GM: Millie leans in on that narrative. Uncle scoffs, although there is some uncertainty, and expresses his wish that his brother was more modern, and not so religious-minded.
[7:02 PM] GM: And he even seems proud of the thought that soon his allies will control more of the world, so he can show his brother all that their village has missed over the years.
[7:06 PM] Drae Blitzen: "Seem in a state of doubt, force him to cite examples that might give us relative locations."
[7:08 PM] GM: Uncle is still pretty shut down, and fixated on not giving up anything, except he does mention how protective of their daughters those in high powers seem to be.
[7:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae, we seem to be stuck in the mud with the uncle. What are your thoughts on advanced interrogation?
[7:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: None of us have delusions this will see a court room. And, being outside the states, we have opportunities.
[7:17 PM] Drae Blitzen: My opinions are "last resort". But I'm out of patience.
[7:17 PM] Drae Blitzen: "Millie, bring it to a close."
[7:18 PM] Drae Blitzen: Jenny, see if if you can find the last known status of The President's daughters.
[7:22 PM] GM: Jenny: The President of Russia's daughter was last known to be in a school in Switzerland. There has been no social activity on the net from the students in that school in the last 2 months, which follows standard patterns for said school. The President of China's daughter is currently "on a good-will tour" that was announced after she left for it, as opposed to their normal patterns of hyping it up before someone from the CCP does anything. She allegedly left 5 days ago.
[7:23 PM] GM: The US President's daughters have been seen on social media as recently as 20 minutes before the New York incident.
[7:23 PM] Drae Blitzen: Chumley, feel free to have a more intimate conversation with Uncle there.,
[7:24 PM] GM: The President of Mexico doesn't have any daughters known at this time.
[7:24 PM] Drae Blitzen: Thank you, Jenny... Would you keep an eye on China and the US daughters passively, if you could? Anything you find is worth it.
[7:24 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Karma... can you send up to the kitchen for me... I need a handful of skewers, or toothpicks.
[7:24 PM] GM: OK. Will do.
[7:25 PM] GM: Chumley: What language was that in? Albanian?
[7:25 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Albanian.
[7:26 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Is there a chair in the room for me?
[7:27 PM] Drae Blitzen: Gets on a private line with Millie and Horoshow "Who on your squads looks the most sympathetic? I think we need a wringer for a soft sell to Father."
[7:28 PM] GM: Chumley: Yes, there is a chair, and the shish kabob skewers (metal) are delivered.
[7:29 PM] GM: Horrorshow: Maybe someone female? He might believe the "weaker sex" might be more honest with him, and possibly more sympathetic? So, either someone from Karma's team, or Kiara?
[7:29 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I enter the room with Uncle... Skewers in hand, and sit down in a chair convenient to a hands on approach.
[7:30 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hi, you have been asked some questions, this would be a good time to start giving good answers. Or we will see what comes next.
[7:30 PM] GM: The chair doesn't even creak. Well built.
[7:30 PM] GM: Chumley: What language did you say that to him in?
[7:31 PM] Drae Blitzen: Go check on Kiara and see if she's available. I'll see if Wolfe wants the job otherwise.
[7:31 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Lets assume everything continues in Albanian... which is known to everyone present.
[7:32 PM] GM: It is. Albanian it is. (Up until now, the interrogation has been in English ...)
[7:32 PM] GM: And I'm sure there are a few Albanian insults you have been saving since you read about them, years ago, and never had the occasion to voice.
[7:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: His hands are on the table, yes?
[7:34 PM] GM: In cuffs, attached to a ring on the (stone) table, with his arms stretched across the blood-gutter on his side.
[7:36 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Putting extra force into it, I bring my fist down in the middle of his left for arm, listening for the wet snap.
[7:37 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And then in a soothing voice, ask about the same information Millie has been asking.
[7:39 PM] GM: So, his arm bones are a little more brittle than you expected, and some of the shards tear through the skin. Instead of a clean break, you seem to have shattered at least the radius, and maybe also broke the ulna.
[7:40 PM] GM: Which is consistent with either a very poor diet (which the rest of his body doesn't seem to support) or a low-level of radiation poisoning, stealing the calcium from his bones.
[7:40 PM] GM: Oh, and he passed out from the pain.
[7:41 PM] GM: Possibly going into shock as well.
[7:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do we have smelling salts?
[7:41 PM] GM: Of course you do. You are that prepared.
[7:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pop open a ampule and run it under his nose.
[7:42 PM] GM: He snaps back to consciousness, and definitely looks like he might be going into shock. The blood-gutter, at least is doing it's job.
[7:43 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Resting my hand on the right forearm.
[7:43 PM] Chumley Metrodora: It would be a good time to speak up.
[7:44 PM] Chumley Metrodora: How much blood is running out?
[7:44 PM] GM: He calls you a motherless daughter of a whore, which ... doesn't really make sense, but ... it's what he said.
[7:45 PM] GM: Well, the shards of the bones poking through his skin are the source of the blood, it's not an arterial gush but it is flowing.
[7:45 PM] GM: You could probably pick at/pull out the shards if you wanted to be especially cruel.
[7:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Puts a tourniquet, on the arm, below the elbow, and turn till the blood flow stops.
[7:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: In an hour this arm will die, in a week it will fall off, or you could tell us what we want to know.
[7:47 PM] GM: If you do it below the elbow, it will probably grind the broken bones further, and might not stop the blood flow. Higher on the arm, maybe at the Brachial plexus, would be a better choice.
[7:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: OK, above the elbow.
[7:47 PM] GM: And that will actually cause the pain to diminish, which might bring him back from the edge of shock as well.
[7:49 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And wait for him to come around again.
[7:50 PM] GM: OK, when he comes to again, you can give your "Arm falling off" line.
[7:50 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do I get any response?
[7:51 PM] GM: There is a curse that basically translates to: "The wrath of god will have anal sex with your parents." So you aren't sure if he is entirely lucid.
[7:54 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I push his right hand flat on the table, and thread a skewer through the back... intentionally missing bones and blood vessels.
[7:55 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And then give it a push, embedding it into the table.
[7:55 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: I'll poke at Father, I had to go dress myself to make myself look like "the weaker sex."
[7:56 PM] GM: Chumley: Downward toward the table, or inward toward the wrist?
[7:56 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Into the table.
[7:57 PM] GM: Kiara: What are you going to wear?
[7:57 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pinning the hand down flat, to the table.
[7:57 PM] GM: Chumley: The table is stone, so to the table not into it?
[7:57 PM] Drae Blitzen: Kiara, the play is to apologize for your friend's abrupt manner in which he was pushing Father. He just didn't want His village to become an unholy sex trafficking den like the other village Uncle controlled.
[7:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Ah, thought wood, got it, to the table, not into it.
[7:58 PM] Drae Blitzen: That Horrowshow, like you, are concerned for Father's way of life.
[8:00 PM] GM: Chumley: The pop of it going through the back gets a grit of the teeth, the pop of it going through his palm gets a wordless scream, and a tear as he tries to snatch his hand back, which doesn't move far, between the cuffs and you holding the non-sharp end of the skewer. It does, however show that the left ulna is definitely broken as well, since arms are not supposed to have a second elbow.
[8:00 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Something modest and demure. And I take off all of my attached, visible weapons.
[8:02 PM] GM: Kiara: Modest and demure like a peasant skirt and blouse, and a head covering? Or modest and demure like BDUs and a solid shirt?
[8:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: We can stop any time... but I need these details.
[8:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie, why don't you ask again
[8:04 PM] GM: Millie: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[8:05 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I listen to Uncle... but watch Millie for reactions.
[8:05 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: The former obviously.
[8:08 PM] GM: Uncle, in English: Fffu ... fuuu ... fuck you.
[8:08 PM] GM: Kiara: He still has the bag over his head, but he can hear the swish of your skirts. Did you signal everyone else to get out of the room before you went in?
[8:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Take another skewer, and insert it under the nail bed, on his right index finger.
[8:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: About half an inch in.
[8:12 PM] GM: Chumley: Uncle gives another wordless scream, and more tearing and bending and more shards of his second elbow area.
[8:12 PM] GM: Uncle: He'll kill me.
[8:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That we can help you with.
[8:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Of course we could also kill you.
[8:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And I am just getting started. How do you feel about boiling Pig Grease?
[8:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Into the radio. Karma, can you send up to the kitchen for me, some boiling bacon fat please.
[8:15 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Is Horrorshow going to be whispering in my ear?
[8:16 PM] GM: Kiara: With your radio earpiece under your head-scarf, they all could, and the room is wired for sound so Drae, and everyone not in the other rooms, can also hear whatever is said.
[8:17 PM] Drae Blitzen: giggles I think these sweet nothings may come from me, Kiara.
[8:18 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I put my hand on the table, resting on the finger skewer.
[8:18 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And I put just a little downward pressure on it.
[8:18 PM] GM: Chumley, in your earpiece, Karma laughs, and says that this is an Israeli safe-house, they probably don't have bacon, but I can do schmaltz.
[8:19 PM] GM: Uncle screams again.
[8:19 PM] Chumley Metrodora: In the earpiece Ah yes, no, schmaltz is not good for this. Much to tasty to waste, Lamb fat, or olive oil would do.
[8:20 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I do however suggest schmaltz lightly on toast, if anyone is snacky.
[8:21 PM] GM: I think some of the folks here would also think bacon grease is too tasty to waste ...
[8:21 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yes, but I was thinking Muslim at the time.
[8:21 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I let off on the skewer.
[8:21 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pain is a funny thing.
[8:22 PM] GM: Uncle gasps for breath.
[8:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I have a question, you have a choice.
[8:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Answers that pan out, or pain.
[8:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And I tap the skewer.
[8:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: It is always your choice.
[8:23 PM] GM: Millie: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[8:23 PM] GM: Kiara: So are you alone in the room with him?
[8:25 PM] GM: Kiara: Father is positioned, arms stretched out before him, chained to an iron ring set into the middle of the stone table. There is a blood gutter around the edge of the table that his arms are crossing. There is a bag over his head. The table and chair he is sitting in are both fastened to the floor. The other chair across from him is between the table and the big screen, which is currently off.
[8:26 PM] GM: Kiara: Also his ankles are attached to the legs of his chair, and there is a belt around his midsection so he cannot stand.
[8:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I set another skewer on the table by Uncles fingers.
[8:29 PM] GM: Uncle, eyeing the skewer: Fuck you.
[8:30 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I insert the skewer under the nail bed on the index finger on the left hand.
[8:30 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Much like the one on the right.
[8:31 PM] GM: Chumley: Might have to pick a second finger on the right hand, the left might be overwhelmed already in pain enough that that much more might not register.
[8:32 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Since that is not exactly where this one will be engaged, missing the pain will not be a huge issue. Electrics are coming, and I needed a contact point.
[8:33 PM] GM: Ah, that makes sense. Although, the one sticking through his hand might make for a good second connection point.
[8:33 PM] Kiara Umbrielle: Ever thought about being a DJ? You remind me of Casey Kasem.
[8:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That was the right hand, and right index, much too short a connection.
[8:34 PM] GM: Chumley: Reasonable. In it goes into his finger. He doesn't even let out a gasp.
[8:34 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And I let my finger push down the RIGHT, skewer again.
[8:34 PM] Drae Blitzen: Once. and maybe again, when this chapter closes. But I gotta keep my feet on the ground while reaching for the stars...
[8:35 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Remember I know where your pain is, and where it is going to be.
[8:35 PM] GM: Uncle screams again.
[8:35 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Tell me... do you have children ?
[8:36 PM] GM: Uncle spits, and then says that everyone in his village are like his children.
[8:36 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Never mind... we will come back to that.
[8:36 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie, what was your question?
[8:37 PM] GM: Millie: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[8:38 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I let up on the right skewer.
[8:39 PM] GM: Uncle: Pain is temporary, he will kill me, I'm not telling you anything.
[8:39 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie, have you ever been to the bull fights in Mexico?
[8:40 PM] GM: Millie: Not yet, I don't get much time off from my job. Tell me about them?
[8:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: They poke a bull with sharp sticks... and then bet on how long a man in the ring will last as the bull chases him.
[8:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Sometimes the man wins.
[8:41 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And they kill the bull
[8:42 PM] Chumley Metrodora: But, being good to the earth nothing goes to waste.
[8:43 PM] Chumley Metrodora: They have this dish, where they sear the bull testicles with oil, before serving them.
[8:44 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Now I am not much for eating mans testicles, but I would be curious what they smell like after being dipped in the oil.
[8:44 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I think we will have to see.
[8:44 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Into the radio Karma any word on that burning oil? I think we are just about ready.
[8:44 PM] GM: Chumley, and right on cue, a boiling pot of olive oil is brought into the room.
[8:45 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie, would you be so kind as to help me with his trousers,
[8:45 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Grabbing my knife, and cutting away hit shirt, pants, and anything else.
[8:46 PM] GM: Millie, stepping over: I think ... he has soiled his trousers. We might just want to pour it on, and see if that cooks them, appropriately.
[8:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I have heard the feeling of having ones testicles burned never really goes away.
[8:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: The raw nerve endings,
[8:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: The oil which sticks to everything.
[8:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And inevitably, the gangrene,
[8:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Before things start falling off.
[8:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Then there is the phantom pains, you cannot itch ... because its fallen off already.
[8:49 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And I pull the ladle out of the pot, and start moving towards Uncles chair.
[8:51 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pour a little on the front of the chair.
[8:52 PM] GM: Chumley: Uncle tries to scoot back against a chair that does not move.
[8:53 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pour a little more.
[8:53 PM] Chumley Metrodora: You know a i could stop. We just need a little information.
[8:54 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie has been really easy going about asking this simple question several times now.
[8:54 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Does he need to ask again, or would you like to just share?
[8:55 PM] GM: Millie: He smells like Imer did.
[8:55 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I do not recall Imer?
[8:56 PM] GM: Chumley: He was the really smelly guy from the other interrogation. The ones Uncle sent that you folks have in the beta interrogation site in the US.
[8:57 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Ah, yes.
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: turning back to Uncle So, will you give us the answers?
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Or should I pour more oil?
[8:58 PM] GM: Chumley: Millie is using it to help break Uncle, by letting him know his folks were already known, possibly captured or killed.
[8:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yes.
[8:59 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pour more oil from the ladle.
[9:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: It should be getting pretty close to him now.
[9:00 PM] Chumley Metrodora: You do know, If I tire of this game, I will pour it right on your nuts.
[9:01 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:02 PM] GM: Uncle: What did you do to Imer?
[9:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: First things first...
[9:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: We will be happy to talk to you about your people.
[9:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: After you answer these questions.
[9:02 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:06 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Millie, was Imer the sucking chest wound guy, or one of the others?
[9:08 PM] GM: Millie: I think he was the one with the sucking chest wound. Or maybe that was Arben. When we broke Diar, he gave up this one head nod toward Uncle so fast I don't really remember much of the rest of it.
[9:09 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Yeah, they all kind of looked the same after a while. The guy with the blow gun dart in his chest was something though.
[9:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Hey, I wonder if she wants to come back and teach a class on that... but this guy would make a great target.
[9:10 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pour a little more oil on the chair.
[9:11 PM] GM: Millie: Come to think of it, I think that was Imer, but ... they all do look alike to me. shrug
[9:11 PM] GM: Uncle: Diar would never give me up!
[9:12 PM] Chumley Metrodora: And yet we are all here.
[9:12 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Pour.
[9:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Are you ready to talk to us, or should I get another ladle full?
[9:13 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Some good hot stuff this time.
[9:13 PM] GM: Uncle screams.
[9:14 PM] GM: Millie sniffs the air and says: Yes, definitely smells like Imer.
[9:14 PM] Chumley Metrodora: You sure that is not Diar?
[9:15 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Once they wet themselves like a little girl, it gets harder and harder to tell.
[9:16 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Anyway... we had a question for you.
[9:16 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:18 PM] GM: Millie: Diar was the one who broke with almost no provocation. We didn't even have to threaten him much. One little cut, and he cried and said this one head nod would come after us, and gave everything up so we would be impressed or something.
[9:18 PM] GM: Millie: Why do you care so much about such a weak and spineless leader like Diar?
[9:18 PM] GM: Uncle: Diar was never weak!
[9:20 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Into the radio. Big D, do we still have Diar?
[9:20 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Apparently he has more to share.
[9:21 PM] GM: He is, indeed, not only in the secondary site, but I believe there is camera footage of him, mostly fine, in a cell, if you want to show that he didn't take much to break.
[9:21 PM] Chumley Metrodora: That would be wonderful.
[9:22 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Please queue it up on the screen for Uncle to see and hear.
[9:25 PM] GM: Just for reference: Diar was team leader, the rabbit, who left the hospital and lead you folks right to their hideout, Imer was the stinky one, with the sucking chest wound, and the others were Arben, Klajdi, Luan, Siar, and Noar.
[9:25 PM] GM: Jenny over coms: Just him, despondent in his cell?
[9:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Do you have video of the interrogation?
[9:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: The part where he gave us Uncle would be stellar.
[9:27 PM] GM: You don't want video of the interrogation for that would show that Millie lied.
[9:27 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Then yes, the cell.
[9:28 PM] Chumley Metrodora: With him alone.
[9:30 PM] GM: Jenny puts that up on the screen, and adds a timestamp of Saturday, March 7th to the bottom of the screen.
[9:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: As you can see, Diar is not harmed.
[9:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: He chose to answer our questions.
[9:33 PM] Chumley Metrodora: If you answer our questions, you could be in the cell with him, or one close by.
[9:34 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:34 PM] GM: Chumley: Looking back and forth between them, they could be father and son.
[9:35 PM] Chumley Metrodora: We could also start asking him this same set of questions.
[9:36 PM] Chumley Metrodora: I have a friend there that could help out.
[9:36 PM] Chumley Metrodora: How does your son handle pain?
[9:37 PM] GM: Uncle: You hurt one hair on his head, and I will see you all in hell!
[9:38 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Answer our question, and we will see to it, you are re-united.
[9:42 PM] Drae Blitzen: Charlie... add a little threat to the rabbit... with physical force.
[9:44 PM] Drae Blitzen: And, Jenny....make sure Uncle can see it.
[9:45 PM] Drae Blitzen: Nothing too crazy, just make sure the point is made that answers would fix this problem.
[9:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Anything that happens to him from here out is on you.
[9:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: You had a chance to answer.
[9:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: You still have a chance to answer.
[9:46 PM] GM: One of Charlie, in full blackout gear, goes into his cell, grabs him by the hair, slaps his face twice, puts his gloved hand over his mouth, and tips his neck up. Then pulls a knife and holds it near, but not at, his neck.
[9:46 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:46 PM] GM: That is shown on the screen with a current timestamp.
[9:47 PM] GM: Jenny: Is that good?
[9:47 PM] Drae Blitzen: Perfect.
[9:47 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:48 PM] GM: Uncle: You hurt him one bit ...
[9:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: It is entirely up to you.
[9:48 PM] GM: Charlie: Brings knife close to his throat.
[9:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Answer or he gets hurt.
[9:48 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:49 PM] GM: Uncle: Release him and I will tell you, you ... and the word he uses sounds like someone who has sex with the rodents in the fields, if you are translating it correctly. He might have just called you a rat-fucker.
[9:50 PM] Chumley Metrodora: into the radio Charlie, please set him back down. Uncle would like to speak for a minute.
[9:51 PM] GM: Charlie member lowers the knife but doesn't back away or let him go.
[9:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: OK, we did our part.
[9:52 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:52 PM] GM: There is now spreading wetness in Diar's pants, as if he wet himself from fear.
[9:55 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Who are your contacts, where are they based, and how do you contact them?
[9:56 PM] Chumley Metrodora: If I have to repeat myself again, it will not play well for Diar.
[9:57 PM] GM: Uncle: The gray man. He speaks with a South African accent, but I don't know his name. He was introduced to me by an arms dealer named van der Merwe that I did business with.
[9:57 PM] GM: Uncle: He gets in touch with me. When I needed to get in touch with him, I messaged van der Merwe.
[9:58 PM] GM: Uncle: Now put him down!
[9:58 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Drae? We good here?
[9:59 PM] Drae Blitzen: I think we are. I can start looking with that.
[9:59 PM] GM: The feed cuts off.
[10:00 PM] GM: Charlie member is cursing, and punching Diar in the face, because, apparently, Diar bit down on his glove and is not letting go. Didn't get any finger, which is why it wasn't noticed until he tried to release Diar.
[10:00 PM] GM: And ... this might be a good place to hang.
[10:01 PM] Chumley Metrodora: Thank you, for a good night gaming.
[10:15 PM] GM: Notes for the future: Drae does know of a very amoral arms dealer who is known as van der Merwe, but has never directly dealt with him. The closest was Drae was contacted to clean up one of van der Merwe's messes in The Republic of Chad, during the Darfur crisis. And a possible Idriss Deby assassination attempt was, therefore, stopped. Van der Merwe dumped a whole bunch of weapons into the lap of of a bunch of rebels apparently in exchange for oil rights.
[10:18 PM] GM: Also, notes for the future: Uncle's name is Klevis, and Father's name is Orges. Everyone's surname is Kurti. Read into that what you will.
